There was something about pirates that reminded the young boy to think of colors. Everyone knew Captain Long John Silver and the nefarious Black Beard. But those two were merely myths and the boy knew the difference between tales and reality.
The real and dangerous pirates seemed to take on the make belief naming system though. As example, there was Rafieo, the Red Skinned, and all of his pirates aboard the ship the Flaming Rainbow.
Everyone knew about him and his dangerous flag soaring high above the crashing waves on the seven seas. Unlike the normal pirate flag, his had a different kind of skull with crossbones. Sure, it looked the same as all the others, but instead of being against a black background it was striped with the colors of the rainbow, indicating that the ship was the one and only. That was probably why the young boy also thought about colors when he spotted that colorful flag soaring toward them.
Most would think that a ship of gay pirates wasn’t the worst thing to happen; people could handle them. But they were just as tough and ruthless as any regular pirates; the only real difference was that they were only interested in taking guys. Which sounded really, really bad to a ship full of noble, young boys.
“Hurry up and put this on,” The young boy was hissed at by his older brother, who looked quiet dashing in the purple colored outfit he was in. His brother’s light brown eyes were filled with worry as he looked at the approaching ship then scurried off a bit.
“But, it doesn’t go with my eyes.” The youngster mumbled his protest even as he pulled the offending orange garment on. He grunted as the corset hugged tightly around his shell. He looked awful.
“Stuff these down your front but keep them near the top so you can actually look like a girl.” His oldest brother handed him two rolls.
“But, Leonardo, these rolls will be wasted and they are too tasty to waste.” The little one complained with a slight pout.
“Now is not the time for your foolish words, Michelangelo.” Leonardo snapped with a glare. “We must make do with our disguises or take a chance being captured by those pirate scums.”
“With our fair skins those roughen pirates would love to use us.” His smartest brother commented as he stuffed two rolls down into his purple gown.
“Not ta mention if they found out whom we are, Donatello.” The last of the four brothers commented. “I’d rather spend a month wearing this ridiculous getup if it’ll keep those scoundrels attention off of me and my hind quarters.” He adjusted the long red dress so his bosoms looked better.
Michelangelo was the youngest of four noble young boys, the oldest, Leonardo, almost ready to be called a man. They were celebrating their brother’s good fortune of finally choosing a bride, a Ms. Karai Oroku, by taking him sailing across the seas; their last chance to all bond. It was meant to be a short trip, down to the islands and then back home, lasting at most three weeks.
But now trouble was befalling them. Their ship couldn’t outrun the nefarious pirate ship chasing them and their men were not prepared to fight. Being noble boys, it was obvious that they were not a match for pirates either. A white flag had been raised to save the ship before the pirates fired upon them with canons.
“Remember; don’t talk unless you are threatened to. The Captain has my orders and he wouldn’t dare sell any of us out, neither will any of the crew.” The oldest reminded, handing each of them a fan.
“But what if we do have to talk?” Michelangelo asked as he looked at the fan in his hand.
“Then use a high pitched yet soft voice like any proper lady would.” He ordered as he turned around, his blue dress swaying by his ankles, just in time to watch as the pirates boarded their ship.
A mob of them went toward the sailors and quickly tied them to the mast since the crew didn’t even attempt to put up a fight. The captain of their ship was tied up and forced onto his knees. No one seemed to bother with the four boys in disguise.
“Well, look what we got here.” A tall, purple skinned pirate approached them, his long tail swishing behind him as he walked. “Captain isn’t going to like this too much.” He looked the four boys over with a critical eye and frowned.
“Status,” A booming voice ordered as the ship jostled, sending the youngest boy toppling over a little until one of his brothers quickly grabbed him to help him balance. A large red skinned pirate had just landed onto their ship. His skin was a dead giveaway for who he was.
“Rafieo the Red Skinned,” The youngest whispered in awe and quickly shook out his fan as he covered his face and he fanned himself, feeling a bit breathless.
“The sailors are all tied up and none of them are worth our time, Captain.” The tall, purple pirate reported. He pointed over toward the boys. “Then we got these four noble dames.”
“Hm, lassies, what a shame,” The pirate captain sighed as he stepped toward the four boys dressed as girls. “Well then, throw them overboard; let the sea decide their fate.” He chuckled and turned around as his yellow eyes glanced over the four, his matching golden hoop earring stuck out on the side of his head just like the four implanted spikes on his wide chin. But he stopped when something caught his eyes.
“Wait a minute,” He turned back to the four and stared at the youngest one. The youngster became to feel nervous by how hard Rafieo seemed to be staring at him. He fanned himself faster but that only drew Rafieo closer to him as his bright blue eyes sparkled in the sun. Soon enough, the pirate captain was hunching over to meet Michelangelo face to face. “Yer eyes sparkle like the sea itself.”
Michelangelo glanced at his brother Raphael, in a red dress that made him look surprisingly pretty, standing next to him. He was scowling. The youngster continued to fan himself and took a deep breath as he tried to utter in a high pitched voice, “You flatter me, Captain.”
“Too bad she has the voice like a seagull.” The purple pirate grimaced at hearing his voice. Michelangelo scowled and reached out to smack the pirate. “Ow,” The pirate glared and he returned to fanning himself as he batted his eyes and smiled with a little girly laugh, hoping he did not just get himself killed.
Rafieo removed his sword with a hum, suspicious now, as he eyed the four. He quickly cut down through the orange dress Michelangelo was forced to wear and the two rolls he had stuffed down the bodice part fell out to roll on the ship’s deck.
“What’s this then?” Rafieo asked with a smirk as he eyed Michelangelo’s revealed, flat plastron. “It seems like the little lass is a lad.” Michelangelo gulped and attempted a smile which only made Rafieo chuckle. “Boys, de-robe all these ‘lasses.’”
Leonardo was de-robed in the same fashion by the purple pirate. A blue skinned pirate appeared and sliced down Raphael’s dress. He turned to do the same to Donatello but the smart brother spoke up. “Yes, I’m a boy too!” He admitted. “But please don’t cut through this dress; it was my deceased mother’s and one of the last items she left behind as an heirloom.”
The blue pirate looked over at his captain and Rafieo nodded as he smiled. A dress was the last of his concerns at the moment. “Well, me lads,” Rafieo boomed. “It seems like we’re getting some booty after all from this score!” Cheers went up from the dozen or so pirates on their ship. “Load them onto our ship but make sure the one with ocean eyes makes it to my cabin as clean as he appears now.” Rafieo chuckled as he strolled over to the captain of the boys’ ships.
“Our father’s a very powerful noble man; he’ll see you all hang if you touch any of my brothers!” Leonardo threatened as he was lifted by the purple turtle and handed off to another pirate as though he was nothing more than a discovered treasure chest.
“He’ll find us and he’ll send all of you to Davie Jones’ locker!” Donatello swore as he was transported over to the pirates’ ship in the same fashion. The pirates groped as they passed the two along, earning indignant squeaks from the noble boys.
“If you don’t let us go our father will shove a canon up yer fuckin’ asses and see how much you fagots like that!” Raphael snarled as he struggled against the pirates attempting to carry him.
“This noble priss talks like a sailor.” One of the pirates, a yellow skinned one with piercing up his neck, stopped to laugh in Raphael’s face.
“I do more than just talk like one.” Raphael growled and kicked the fool square in the jaw.
“Little bitch boy,” The pirate cursed and leaped at him, only to be pulled away by Rafieo with a jolly laugh.
“Let him be for now, Michael. You can get the lad back once he’s in the underbelly of the ship with the rest of them.” Rafieo watched as Raphael was slowly taken to their ship, struggling the entire way. “I think that one will be the first to join us. He’s got a lot of spunk; he’d make a wonderful pirate.”
“But Leon already told me he wanted dibs on him,” Michael complained. “I’ll never get a hold of him.” He pouted and his long tongue, a birth defect, slid out of his mouth.
“Remember what I told all of ya; no dibs until they’ve been passed around at least once.” Rafieo reminded with a grin.
“Except for the lads you choose.” Michael smiled and watched as the boy with blue eyes that their captain found appealing was silently carried over to the ship. The poor lad looked too shock at being claimed by the pirate captain to even breath correctly.
“Well, he is the first lad I ever decided to call my own. Plus, I have the right to be selfish; I am a pirate captain, after all.” Rafieo smirked and bent down to be on the same level as the defeated captain. “Here’s the deal, Captain. We’re takin’ the lads, yer food, and all the gun powder you might have. You can deliver a message to their noble priss of a father that if he wants them, he better come find us ‘cause we hold tight to our booty.” He winked and with that, Rafieo turned and walked away from the captain, not even giving the poor man a chance to argue. He grabbed the blue pirate as soon as he spotted him. “Leon, as me first mate, you shall see to it that the work is all done over here.”
“Aye, Captain.” Leon nodded, begrudgingly.
“Good, I’ve got me a lad to visit.” Rafieo chuckled and swung over to his ship. He adored the Flaming Rainbow as much as any captain loved their ship. She was a mighty vessel and easily one of the fastest even though she held fifteen rather large, pirate boys and a few other boys on the ship. Her speed was all from the light but sturdy wood she was made from.
Rafieo grinned as he looked at the wooden planks as he made his way slowly to his private chambers. Those wooden planks had withheld many a battle and as well a few sex scandals, he was sure. Yet they looked as clean as the day Rafieo first arrived on the ship as a small boy. Scratch that; as a young boy. He never was considered small, even at a young age. Humming to himself, a dead giveaway of his happy mood, Rafieo arrived at the door of his cabin right at the bow of the ship. “Boys, I’m not to be disturbed, ya hear?” He called out to the few men on deck loading the stolen goods.
They all nodded and a few called back a hearty ‘aye’ to satisfy their captain. Rafieo nodded his approval and pushed his door open, knocking the small boy over who had been banging desperately on the door. Rafieo smiled as he eyed the fallen lad.
Michelangelo gulped and quickly stood only to fall over once more as his feet got tangled in the sliced dress. He landed on his rump again and grimaced, knowing that he was going to be especially sore there in the morning once the pirate before him had his way with him. Well, if he lived to make it to the morning.
“Take that ridiculous thing off now, lad.” Rafieo closed the door behind him and locked it with a satisfying click. Michelangelo remained on the ground and simply stared up at Rafieo, his blue alluring eyes wide with fear. “Lad, you’ll either take that dress off or I will with my teeth.” Rafieo bared his mouth with a wide grin and the small boy stood once again, successfully this time.
Slowly, Michelangelo allowed the tatter remains of the dress to fall from his body as he pushed the sleeves off his shoulders. The dress pooled around his feet and he tried to step out of the fabric but ended up tripping over his own two feet once more. He at least toppled onto the soft bed instead of the floor.
Michelangelo’s eyes widened as he realized that he was on a pirate’s bed. Not only that but the pirate was a pirate captain, of all things, and slowly approaching him with a sexy swing of his hips and oh shell. Panicking, he began to rise only to be pushed back down onto the bed.
“Relax and I’ll let you enjoy this,” Rafieo purred as he slowly stepped closer to the boy. He stripped himself of the black vest around his shoulders, which always pulled too tight due to his wide shell. His excuse for jean shorts he wiggled out of and then he pulled off his belt where his dagger and pistol hung from.
By the time he reached the sitting lad, the boy was shaking. “Relax now, it’ll be okay, I can be very gentle despite my appearance.” Rafieo whispered as he sat next to the boy and began to rub at his thighs, forcing them to part as he dipped his large hand in between them possessively. He churred at the feel of the soft skin and moved his hand to the boy’s plastron. He slowly began to rub his hand over the more sensitive spots that were on the plastron but he paused over the slit that hid the boy’s cock. It was warm.
Rafieo pulled back and looked up at the boy’s face. His enchanting blue eyes were a bit glazed over and he was biting on his lower lip. Rafieo narrowed his eyes and pressed against the slit. “Drop down,” he ordered in a tone of voice that none of his men would even dare to challenge against.
Michelangelo’s cock slowly appeared, already hard and almost ready to start leaking pre-cum. Rafieo’s eyes widened with glee and he chuckled. “And here I thought you were shaking like the flag through a storm due to being scared shitless. But you ain’t, aye?” Rafieo leaned up against his head, where he knew the boy could hear best and whispered, “You’re so excited you’re shaking and it’s all because you like men too.”
“Oh gods,” Michelangelo whimpered and covered his face due to his shame. “Please,” he pulled his hands away and looked up at Rafieo. “Don’t tell anyone, sir. I’m a nobleman’s son; it’s too improper for me to have such feelings. I’m suppose to be like my eldest brother and marry a thin little thing without any personality and bare lots of obnoxious little children and--”
“And it seems like you’re thrilled about the life you were born into.” Rafieo smiled knowingly. He had the boy all figured out already.
Michelangelo sighed. “It’s not awful. I was raised well, my family cares for me, and I love my brothers dearly, in a correct, platonic way, of course.” Rafieo nodded. “There are just certain things to be expected of me, is all. And I just don’t feel correct fulfilling a life that doesn’t truly suit me like that.”
“Well then, it’s a good thing we did get to you.” Rafieo chuckled and his hand traveled down to re-awaken the boy’s erection that had begun to dwindle as the boy spoke of his land life. Michelangelo gasped and his eyes widened at the intense pleasure at having another touch him in such an intimate place. “‘Cause you ain’t leaving this ship anytime soon, boy,” Rafieo purred as he leaned down and licked at Michelangelo’s neck, getting the boy to openly moan. “Not until I’m at least tired of you.”
“When,” Michelangelo swallowed as he was pushed down onto his shell but Rafieo stepped away from the bed. Michelangelo propped himself up on his elbows and watched the other as he went to a drawer and rummaged through it. He tried again to speak, “When do you believe you will tire of me, sir, if I may ask?”
“You may ask and you may also stop being so damned polite boy. You won’t impress me with that proper talk. You’ll only piss me off, really.” Rafieo smirked a bit as he continued to search blindly through the messy drawer. “Well now, out of the fifty-eight ships we’ve raided and the sixty-six, no wait, sixty-seven, ah, I’ll do the math later, but around sixty-seven men we’ve taken onto our ship; you are the first one I’ve ever taken to my quarters.” Rafieo grinned as he finally managed to find the new bottle of oil he had in his dresser. “So, I really can’t tell you when but it probably won’t be before someone else catches my eyes like you did.”
“Why me?” Michelangelo dared to ask. “I mean, I don’t mean that in a very negative way, just a rather curious one.”
“Not too sure myself, lad,” Rafieo shrugged and made his way back over to the bed. “I’ll tell you when I figure it out for myself first, deal?” He popped open the oil and smelled it with a grin. “Cherry scented, fitting for you, aye?”
Michelangelo’s face flared with warmth and Rafieo chuckled as he leaned over the small boy’s form and planted a kiss to his forehead. “What’s your name, lad?”
“My name is Michelangelo,” he confessed as he watched Rafieo apply the oil to his lower plastron and spread it down and around his twitching entrance.
“Well, Mike,” Rafieo frowned, “Nah, Mikey, that’s more fittin’ for a lad such as yourself. Mikey, boy, how are you feeling right now?”
Michelangelo pondered his new name for a moment and decided he rather liked the name Mikey. He could easily get use to it. “I’m nervous and a little afraid to be honest, sir.”
“Call me Rafieo,” he whispered as he breached the boy with the tip of his finger. “Ease up; if you tense it will just make everything worse.” Rafieo informed as he nuzzled at Mikey’s neck, feeling the boy slowly loosen under his order, his jaw no longer clenched shut, instead falling open to help the boy take in deep, calming breaths. “And it’s understandable to be nervous and afraid your first time. But I promise I’ll make ya enjoy it and scream my name.” Rafieo grinned and licked at the boy’s pulse line on his neck to distract him as he pushed his finger slowly in.
Mikey smiled a little and let out a breathy chuckle. “I can’t believe I’m about to loose my virginity to a famed pirate captain and the only thing I can think about is how no one on land will ever believe it.”
“Your brothers will believe it,” Rafieo reminded with his own little chuckle as he started to wiggle his finger around inside the boy, trying to loosen him more.
“Yeah, but they still won’t believe that I spread my legs willingly.” Mikey emphasized his point by opening his legs more and churred as his prostate was hit by Rafieo’s explorations. “And that I was actually a bit more excited than anything else.”
“Really now?” Rafieo pulled away from the boy’s neck to look at his eyes. They were closed as the lad chose that moment to lean his head back and throw his mouth open in a quiet moan. Rafieo’s breath hitched in his throat as he stared at the young lad. He was beautiful like that.
Rafieo moved his finger around a bit more then added more oil to further stretch him, pulling slightly in one direction and then the other as his cock dropped down. He wanted the boy and he wanted him forever; there was no reason to hurt him right off the batch. “Do you feel ready?” Rafieo removed his finger without waiting for an answer and slicked his hard flesh with an oiled hand.
Mikey glanced down between them at the firm length pressed against his thigh. It was definitely fit for a gay pirate captain. Licking at his beak, Mikey nodded. “I’m ready.” He stated confidently as a sham as he gripped the sheets tightly in his fingers at his sides. Rafieo shifted in between Mikey’s legs and gripped his long, slender legs in his hands as he lined up against Mikey.
“Breathe out when I push in and it will be less uncomfortable.” Rafieo helpfully noted as he began to push against the slick entrance. Mikey exhaled and Rafieo slid all the way in with a loud groan. “That’s so good,” he looked down at Mikey and frowned at the boy’s pained expression. Mikey obviously wasn’t of the same opinion. His erection had also softened greatly.
“Just relax and don’t try to fight it. Keep breathing,” Rafieo took Mikey’s erection in hand and started to pump it back to life. “You have to relax and you’ll like it.” Mikey forced himself to unclench his jaw and take deep breaths again as he tried to get use to the large size inside of him. The stretching was painful and it felt vaguely like something was trying to tear him apart due to the pressure.
Slowly, Mikey began to loosen inside and grew use to the strange feeling. He released the sheets that he had been holding in a death grip and wrapped his arms around Rafieo’s neck as he offered a small smile. “I’m okay now.”
Rafieo smiled down at the boy and nuzzled his neck once more. “Here we go then.” He pulled out only a little and thrust back in without too much power; he didn’t want to hurt the little one. Mikey gasped and ducked his head down, bumping it against Rafieo’s throat. “Relax,” Rafieo mumbled and slowly thrust into the lad once more. He continued his slow pace, pulling out a bit further each time and increasing the speed of his thrusts.
“Oh,” Mikey’s eyes widened as Rafieo thrust fully into him; his arms wrapped around the boys thighs as he pulled them apart.
“Was that a good ‘oh’ or a bad one?” Rafieo asked with his head nestled near the lad’s since Mikey was still gripping around his neck, forcing him to be right next to him.
“Good one,” Mikey informed as Rafieo thrust in again and hit the same spot. “Oh, definitely good,” Mikey grinned as he started churring. Rafieo grinned and began to thrust into him with real, hard, bed moving thrusts. “Gods, yes!” Mikey moaned as Rafieo began to nip at his neck while he moved. Mikey’s hard erection rubbed between their plastrons and he began leaking as Rafieo continued his thrusts with vigor.
“I’m,” Mikey licked at his beak, accidentally licking at Rafieo’s neck as well. “I’m gonna, soon, gonna--”
“You come when you come, lad.” Rafieo whispered as he grunted and sped up the thrusts.
Mikey gasped and shook as the overpowering pleasure coursed through his body suddenly. His joy splattered against his plastron and smeared across Rafieo’s as the larger turtle began to head toward his own peak. Mikey grunted with each body shaking thrust until Rafieo’s grunts grew louder and the pirate captain finally spilled inside the boy with a powerful bite to the boy’s neck. Mikey’s eyes widened at the pressure on his neck as it extracted a good chill down his shell.
Rafieo shook as he came down from the height of his orgasm. He released Mikey’s skin from between his teeth and pulled his head up as much as he could with Mikey’s arms still wrapped around him. “You okay?” Rafieo asked as he looked into the boy’s shining eyes.
“I think I’m better than okay.” Mikey smiled and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to Rafieo’s beak. He unwrapped his arms from his neck and flopped back onto the bed, boneless. “That was amazing.” Mikey whispered as he allowed his eyes to close as he slowly collected his breath.
Rafieo tentatively touched his beak. It was an odd feeling to be kissed. He smiled and looked at the boy beneath him. “Ready for a nap I see,” Rafieo chuckled and worked on pulling out of the boy slowly. He noticed the mess on his plastron and smirked as he lied back down next to the boy. He lied on his plastron, effectively cleaning it off, and pillowed his head on his arms. He was the type of guy to sleep deeply after a good fuck.
Mikey rolled onto his side and pressed against Rafieo, enjoying the afterglow. Rafieo raised as eye ridge as the boy wrapped his own arms around his arm and rested his head against him. He cursed himself for getting one of those clingy, first timers. “Mikey, it’s not very manly for a pirate captain to snuggle, gay or otherwise.”
Mikey blinked at him and a hurt expression flickered over his face. “Oh, I’m sorry,” He scooted a bit back on the bed until he wasn’t touching Rafieo then lied down again, closing his eyes.
Rafieo stared at the boy and sighed as he moved onto his side and pulled the boy to him. “Like I give a shit what my crew thinks about me anyway.” He mumbled as Mikey smiled against him. Maybe he didn’t mind a clingy first timer after all.
“We’re gonna teach you three how things work on this ship.” One orange skinned pirate smirked as he ripped the rest of Leonardo’s dress from his body. Leonardo was trying to jerk his arms out of the two pirates holding him steady as a few pirates stepped behind him eagerly.
Raphael was snarling and kicking out at everyone trying to get near him until the purple pirate from the ship caught his leg and the pirate’s abnormally long tail slithered up his leg and pressed painfully into him. “I’m gonna fuckin’ rip that thing offa ya!” Raphael snarled against the pain. He growled, barring his teeth, and tried to look as vicious as he could but was slammed suddenly to the ground on his plastron, hands on his shell, as the tail continued to work its way into him.
Forcing his eyes open, Raphael had the unfortunate view of seeing his brother Leonardo pushed down to his knees before him. Leonardo stared at him and tried to put on a brave face but a pirate pressed against him from behind and Leonardo closed his eyes as he screamed in pain.
Raphael tore his eyes away from the sight before him just in time to catch Donatello being dragged away from the room. “Donatello!” He shouted for his brother as he was taken away from his brothers and into a different section of the ship under the deck.
Four guys seemed set on having their own private party with him. Only, since they were pirates, they were impatient and already groping and licking at him as they dragged him down hallway after hallway.
“Wait, please,” Donatello begged them as he was pulled one way and pushed another. He felt a hand playing with his tail underneath the dress he still wore and he groaned. “Please, stop for a bit.” He tried to ask but the pirates finally found a room and shoved him into there. They grabbed at the dress in their desperate search for his skin.
“Wait a moment, please!” Donatello shouted at the top of his lungs and the three different arms grabbing at him finally came to a halt. He stared at the four pairs of eyes staring back at him and flashed a little smile. “Thank you,” he cleared his throat. “I would really rather take off this dress myself so it wouldn’t tear, if you wouldn’t mind?”
“Like a strip show?” The one pirate not desperately groping at him asked, tilting his head to the side as he stared at Donatello. The other pirates’ faces suddenly beamed with excitement at the idea.
“Sure,” Donatello nodded, “A strip show, if you would allow.”
“Work it, boy,” One licked his lips and took a step back to give Donatello space to, well, work it.
Donatello smiled uneasily and took a step back to further distance himself from the pirates as well as get closer to the door without the group seeming to notice. He turned around and slowly pulled the strings around his shell undone to let them stream down at his sides. He pulled the large, puffy shoulder straps off of his shoulders and pulled his arms through and over his head so that the top fell down to his hips. He looked over his shoulder at the four eyeballing him.
Swallowing, Donatello shimmied out of the dress the best he could as he moved his hips and pushed the dress down. He finally managed to step out of the dress, stepping closer to the door again, and he turned around, fully exposed like he use to be as a child running around without knowing about proper dressing procedurals.
The four pirates all started towards him with large grins on their faces and lust in their eyes but Donatello shoved his hands out. “Wait!” He begged once more. “I have one more thing to show you,” He grinned, “A magic trick.”
“Oh I love magic!” One of the pirates clapped and Donatello’s grin grew. Pirates were not the smartest things.
“Then you’ll love this one,” Donatello offered and cleared his throat once more. “Now you see me, well, naked,” he gestured up and down at himself. “And now, you don’t see me at all.” He reached behind himself for the doorknob, pushed the door open and ran down the hallway as fast as he could.
“I’ve seen better,” The magic loving pirate declared.
“He’s run away, you dipstick! After him,” another pirate growled and quickly went out the door after Donatello.
“Shit, shit,” Donatello murmured to himself as he ran blindly down one hallway and into another. He had no idea where he was going. He didn’t know how to get onto one of the upper decks and he knew he was in so much trouble if they caught him. But luckily, he was well prepared to make sure that those pirates never touched him.
When he had dressed in his mother’s dress, which really wasn’t an heirloom like he claimed, he had slipped a knife into one of the rolls playing as his bosom. Now he had the knife and could perform an honorable death, even if it was considered suicide as well.
Unfortunately, the loud yelling and footsteps behind him were still very loud, meaning that he didn’t have time to stop and perform it. Donatello came to a split in the hallway and darted to the left. He sprinted as fast as he could to get to the door at the end of the hall. He reached it and tugged on the doorknob only for it not to budge. It was locked. He was trapped.
Turning around, Donatello quickly pressed the knife into his wrist and the four pirates hurtling toward him all stopped a good foot away from him. Their eyes were wide as they stared at Donatello. Donatello used their paused moment to drag the dagger down until one shouted and he stopped momentarily.
“Hey now, lad,” One of the pirates held their hands up in a sign of no harm. “Come now, there’s no reason for that.”
“It’s more honorable than to be taken by all of you.” Donatello hissed as he watched his blood rising to his new scars. He slowly began to drag the knife deeper and down his arm.
“Stop that!” The pirates yelled and Donatello stopped once again. “Maybe we can make a deal, alright? We’ll, um,” the pirate trailed off and Donatello frowned.
Then the knife was suddenly pulled away from him and Donatello’s eyes widened as he looked behind him at the large blue pirate. “What the hell is going on here?” Leon growled as he looked down at Donatello.
“Ah, Leon, good thing ya stopped him before we lost our booty permanently. Captain would have had our shells.” One of the pirates grinned and stepped forward to grab Donatello.
“You allowed him to escape from the four of you?” Leon growled and picked Donatello up, ignoring his squeal as he threw him over his shoulder. “This one is mine now. Next time you four would be better to not be so careless.” The four pirates pouted as Leon strode through the door and slammed it behind him, locking it once more.
He stabbed Donatello’s knife into the wall and tossed Donatello onto one of the beds in the room. Leon looked at him and frowned. “Well, you’re not the one I wanted but I’ll make due.” Leon shrugged and grabbed a bottle of oil off of a shelf. He tossed it to Donatello. “Start preparing yourself while I try to find some wrap for your wrist. And if you aren’t prepared by the time I find something it’ll just be worse for you.”
Donatello gulped and uncapped the oil, pouring some over his shaking fingers. He had been so foolish; he shouldn’t have paused to cut himself, he should have quickly done the deed and been over with it. Now this roughen would enjoy his body.
Trying to clear his mind, Donatello gently pressed against himself with one finger and moved it around in a circle until his entrance opened a little. He pressed in and pulled out to then press in again only further. He managed to get his whole finger in before the pirate started wrapping his wrist. The pirate was smirking at him.
“You’re pretty good at fucking yourself,” Leon acknowledged. “So, what’s your secret? You just like the feeling or have you been fooling around with another male.”
Donatello gulped and pulled his finger out of himself. “My secret is my own and I shall not confide it with the likes of you.” Donatello stated and turned his head to the side as he was pushed farther back on the bed to rest on his shell.
“Fine,” Leon knelt between his legs. “It’s not like your secret is what I’m really interested about anyways.” He grinned and Donatello closed his eyes.
“Get comfy in there, lads,” The orange pirate grinned as he slammed the cell door locked. “It’s your new home for awhile.” He chuckled and walked away, leaving Raphael and Leonardo on the ground in the same form as they were tossed.
Raphael groaned and tried to sit up. “Shit that hurts,” he cursed and bit as his beak. Leonardo continued to lie on the floor and stare up at the ceiling. “Leonardo,” Raphael frowned and looked at his brother, touching his shoulder and gently shaking him. “Snap out of it, Leonardo, come now. Yell at me fer talking improper or something.”
“My bride will never accept me now.” Leonardo mumbled and Raphael sighed in relief. “I am dishonored and the cancellation of our wedding will only add dishonor to our family name.”
“That should not be your biggest worry right now.” Raphael growled. “We still are missing our brothers and those pirate faggots might want another round at your honor.” He hissed. “So sit up and help me think of a way out of this smelly shit hole.”
Leonardo blinked and shook his head. “We’re going to die here, Raphael. No one ever escapes from pirates.”
“Now that’s a load of shit, Leonardo. I’ve talked to guys down by the docks that were released from worse pirates than these fuckers.” Raphael winced, “Bad wording on my part.”
“You were down by the docks again?” Leonardo frowned as he slowly started to sit up.
“Yes, I know, proper boys do not wonder around the docks with sailors but you should be glad that I did. Because I know that we can arrange a deal with the pirate captain. We have to tell them we want to speak to the captain by saying, um, shit what was that word?” Raphael growled and pressed his fingers to his head.
“What word?” Leonardo asked.
“Shut up or else I’m gonna forget it,” Raphael stared at the ground before him and finally relaxed. “Parley, that’s it. Alright, we tell them ‘parley’ and they take us to the captain. Then we make a deal with him to return us to our father either by telling them who father is so the scum can know that he’ll get a deal worth of gold if we’re returned. Or we could promise to wash their deck and become their slaves for a few months or some sort of deal like that.”
“That sounds like a good idea, Raphael.” Leonardo nodded his head in approval.
“I told ya it’s a good thing to hang around the docks sometimes.” Raphael smiled.
A call of, “Captain,” and soft knocking on the door woke Rafieo. He groaned and opened his eyes. He was rather warm and comfortable where he was. Frowning, Rafieo was confused for a moment about the small form cuddle against him, until Mikey blinked awake as well. Those blue eyes stared up at Rafieo and offered a sleepy smile that Rafieo instantly returned.
“Wait here,” Rafieo nuzzled Mikey’s neck and rose from the bed with a groan. “I’m coming, hold on, ya fucker.” Rafieo growled as he pulled open his door to see the long purple skinned turtle. “Donald, damn it, I said I didn’t want to be disturbed.”
“Captain, it’s been seven hours since our raid on that noble ship. If you keep it up you’ll kill the lad before sundown.” Donald smirked, his tail swishing across the ground behind him.
“What the fuck do you want?” Rafieo demanded and Donald rolled his eyes.
“You’re always so upset when you wake up.” Donald shook his head and leaned against the doorframe. “Two of the priss boys have called parley.”
“Damn it,” Rafieo frowned. “Why does everyone know about that supposed secret word?” He smacked the door. “Fine, I’ll be down to the brig in a moment. Let me get dressed.” He slammed the door shut and picked up his belt, tying it into place around his waist.
Mikey yawned and stretched as he watched Rafieo dress lazily. “Rafieo,” The captain looked up at the call of his name even though his pants were only half way up. The sight made Mikey smile, “What happens now?”
“What do you mean?” Rafieo frowned and finished pulling his pants up.
“I mean between you and me. Are you going to kill me? Or throw me overboard to let the ocean decide if I live or not?” Mikey asked with a frown.
“Of course not,” Rafieo pulled his vest over his shell and stepped forward. He nuzzled at Mikey’s head. “What happens now is that you remain in my room until I come back. But you stay here knowing that you shall not be harmed or touched by another on my ship.” Rafieo smiled. “You are mine, Michelangelo.”
Mikey smiled back. “I thought you were going to call me Mikey.”
“I am,” Rafieo nodded, “But I will also call you Michelangelo while in private. Tell others that your name is Mikey; I want none of my crew to know your real name. It is only for me to say.” He licked at Mikey’s neck. “Now relax while I go have a quick talk.” He pulled away to find the boy smiling and looking at his feet.
“So, I just sit here then?” Mikey asked for confirmation and Rafieo nodded as he headed for the door. “Okay, then I’ll be here when you get back.”
“That’s the idea,” Rafieo smiled and closed the door behind him as he left. That lad was a silly young thing. It was rather endearing.
Donald stood on the deck, awaiting his captain with a knowing look. “Is he that good?” Donald asked and Rafieo shoved past him to head down the open stairs to the underbelly of the ship. “Seriously, Captain, it’s been a while since you smiled like that; was the lad truly that good?”
“Honestly, Donald, if ya don’t shut your trap I’ll kill you.” Rafieo replied calmly. “How’s that for an answer?”
“You’re not going to share this boy,” Donald frowned as he realized what his captain was implying. “Captain, it’s not like this boy is the first one you’ve ever fucked. Hell, most of the men now apart of this crew started out being fucked by you.”
“But did I ever take any of them into my room?” Rafieo asked rhetorically.
“It is odd that you didn’t do it out on the deck like you did everyone else.” Donald frowned but then smirked as an idea occurred to him. “So, he really is too good to share.”
Rafieo turned around suddenly and shoved Donald up against the wall, gripping his neck in one hand and his tail in the other and squeezing both in warning. “Get the boy out of your head because he shall be mine and only mine, ya understand?”
“Yes, Captain,” Donald gasped out and was released. He slumped against the wall and rubbed at his poor abused throat. His tail curled around his hand and he gently stroked it. “Damn it, that hurt.” Donald frowned.
“Yeah, well, tough.” Rafieo grunted and continued on his way to the brig. Donald frowned and followed after his captain.
“Now what is it you lads want?” Rafieo asked begrudgingly as he stood before the cell and looked at the two sitting on the only bench attached to the wall.
“Our freedom along with our other two brothers’,” Leonardo stated clearly, getting straight to the point. “We’re willing to barter gold that our father would surely pay as well as work on your ship in exchange.”
“Nope,” Rafieo shook his head, not even considering the offer. “That ain’t gonna happen.”
“Why the hell not?” Raphael growled. “We can’t be that great of a fuck and even if we were we’re offerin’ you fuckers gold, wine, gun powder, whatever the hell ya want! Shit, our father would probably even trade better fucks if that’s what ya want. There’s this one stable boy we have, tiny little thing, I’d bet you’d really like him.” Leonardo frowned and elbowed Raphael in the plastron to make him shut up.
Rafieo chuckled and shook his head. “That’s one reason why not; you, boy. I like ya and you’ll make a great addition to the crew. You’ve got spunk; it’s perfect for a pirate.”
“I can’t be a pirate,” Raphael frowned. “Besides, I certainly can’t join your crew; I ain’t no faggot.”
Rafieo’s grin widened. “That’s what you say but yer just a closeted lad. I’ve got gay-dar as does the rest of me crew and it’s going off right now. Right, Donald?” He asked the other and Donald nodded his head knowingly.
“You certainly knew how to brace yourself for another man.” Donald smirked.
Raphael growled. “Fuck off,” He mumbled and crossed his arms over his plastron. Leonardo frowned but cleared his throat, deciding that he needed to talk to his brother later.
“You are not taking my brother in as a pirate.” Leonardo declared boldly. “That is not a possibility here.”
“Tell ya boys what, I can barter yer freedom,” Rafieo motioned to Leonardo, “And then that other brother of yours; the one that was in the purple dress.”
“What about Michelangelo?” Leonardo asked, worried about his youngest brother.
“From now on his name is Mikey,” Rafieo glared and glanced at Donald. “And he’s mine now so just forget about him.”
“We will not forget about our kid brother.” Leonardo growled and made to stand but Raphael grabbed his shoulder.
“If I promise to sign your articles then ya gotta promise me that Leonardo and Donatello go free.” Raphael decided and Leonardo’s eyes widened.
“Raphael, no; you can not agree to become a pirate!” Leonardo gripped Raphael’s hand and stared into his brother’s eyes but Raphael refused to look anywhere other than Rafieo.
“Aye, lad, I’ll promise.” Rafieo nodded solemnly.
“Then go fetch your articles and a pen.” Raphael sighed. Rafieo motioned for Donald and the purple pirate left the room.
“Raphael, you can not do this.” Leonardo insisted. “We can trade them something else instead.”
“Leonardo, they could just as easily force me to sign the articles.” Raphael hissed as his narrow eyes locked onto Rafieo. “If they held a gun to one of your heads and told me to sign, I’d do it instantly. It’s better this way; we’re getting something out of the deal.”
“Captain,” Leon walked into the room suddenly, dragging Donatello along with him. “What are you doing down here?”
“Boys called a parley. I hope you enjoyed that lad because you won’t be having him again.” Rafieo opened the cell door and Donatello was shoved inside. “Come on out, now.”
Raphael nodded and rose from the bench. Donatello frowned and headed for his brother. “What is going on, Raphael?”
“You and Leonardo are going to be safe now until you get home.” Raphael informed but Donatello’s eyes only narrowed instead of relaxed with the knowledge.
“And what of you and Michelangelo?” He asked.
“Mikey is obviously the captain’s little bitch boy now,” Raphael growled.
“Raphael, do not speak of Michelangelo in such a way!” Donatello interrupted but Raphael continued, unaffected.
“And I am to be a pirate.” He snarled the words out between his teeth.
“No,” Donatello’s eyes widened and he wrapped his arms around Raphael in a hug. “No, Raphael, say it is not so!”
Raphael nuzzled Donatello’s neck tenderly. “I’m sorry,” he whispered and pulled himself away. Donatello tried to grab him again but Leonardo grabbed his arms. Donatello had tears in his eyes as he watched Raphael step out of the cell and follow the pirate captain, leaving Leon to lock the cell.
Rafieo cleared his throat as they walked through the hallway. “That moment with your brother back there was a touching thing.” He commented, “But the way you nuzzled him seemed a bit more than platonic love to me.”
Raphael growled, “Well, Captain,” he snarled the word like an insult. “Pardon me fer askin’ but did ya ever have brothers of yer own?” Rafieo shook his head no. “Then ya don’t understand the love between brothers. So don’t start spreading some fuckin’ lie that I’m passionate with my brother; we don’t sin like that.”
Rafieo nodded his head. “Relax, lad, ya don’t have to be so defensive. Pirates don’t think much of one another anyway.”
“What’s my name now?” Raphael asked, changing the subject. “You gave Michelangelo a new name, it’s only fitting I get one as well so I can at least not shame the name my mother gave me.”
“Let’s see,” Rafieo thought for a moment. “We’ll shorten it ta Raph; that’ll be your name,”
Raphael thought the name and tried it aloud. “Raph; yeah, okay, I could get use to that.”
“I’m glad,” Rafieo smiled a little, “Seems I have a knack for new names.” They arrived on deck with a bunch of pirates already gathered around. “Wait a moment before you sign. Ya can read the articles if you’d like.” Rafieo offered to Raph as he went to his room. “Mikey,” he called as he opened the door. The little turtle sat up on the bed with a smile. “Come now, Mikey, time for you to sign the articles.”
“I have to sign what now?” Mikey asked with a frown.
“Just follow me; yer brother’s waiting.” Rafieo added and Mikey nodded as he stood. He walked towards Rafieo and winced as he rubbed his backside.
“Oh, walking is not enjoyable right now.” He smiled a little and Rafieo chuckled.
“Want me to carry ya like a dame?” Rafieo suggested with a smile.
“Alright,” Mikey perked up to the idea and opened his arms. Rafieo’s eyes widened and he reached down to pick the boy up, Mikey instantly wrapping his arms around the red turtle’s neck. Mikey smiled and Rafieo kicked the door closed as he walked back over to the group of gathered pirates.
“Captain got a new accessory,” One of the pirates called out and Rafieo snarled.
“Shut yer trap,” He placed Mikey down next to Raph. “The boy said it hurt to walk.” A bunch of calls and cheers went up from the group and Mikey ducked his head with embarrassment.
“Hi, Raphael,” Mikey greeted his brother with a coy smile.
“It’s Raph now,” Raph grunted and frowned. “Are you alright?” He whispered.
Mikey nodded his head. “I’m just a little, um, sore.” He shifted from one foot to another. “And my name’s Mikey now.” He informed.
“Alright boys,” Rafieo grabbed the articles, a blank book slowly filling with names. “Did ya read the rules at the front?” He asked Raph.
“Aye, Captain, they’re fair enough.” Raph acknowledged and Mikey frowned.
“Wait, what rules? What’s going on, brother?” Mikey grabbed Raph’s arm and tried to get his attention as well as some answers.
“All you need to know, Mikey, is that after you sign that book, the Captain can’t fuck you if you don’t want him to. Also, you can help yourself to the alcohol and whatever the hell else they got as booty when they get it.” Raph paraphrased the rules and agreements of the book.
“Raphael, um, I mean, Raph,” Mikey frowned. “Why would I partake in the use of alcohol? I am not of age yet,”
“Being of age doesn’t matter on the seas. Besides, it’s the first thing I’ll be doin’ after signing that book.” Raph frowned and sighed as he looked at his brother’s confused expression. “To make sure Donatello and Leonardo get home safely, we’ve gotta become pirates.”
“What?” Mikey’s eyes widened and he looked up at Rafieo. “I can not be a pirate! I don’t know how to fight and steal and take advantage of booty.” He panicked.
“Relax now, Mikey, you’ll be a special pirate.” Rafieo assured the lad.
“Special how?” Raph stepped in front of Mikey, his eyes narrowing. “I read that accursed book and it’s written right there in ink that a crewmate may only fuck another crewmate if the two are in agreement.”
“Yes, well, I’m not a crewmate, now am I?” Rafieo smirked and a few of the pirates around him chuckled and mumbled about how their captain was a sly one.
“Oh, well that’s a relief to my soul. Not.” Raph growled. “So I gotta fuckin’ join yer crew and not all of my brothers are protected still against you? That doesn’t sound too fair to me.”
“Tough,” Rafieo bluntly stated. “You agreed on keeping your two other brothers safe, I told you beforehand that Mikey was no longer your concern.”
“That’s a load of bull--”
“Raph,” Mikey quickly grabbed his brother’s shoulder and interrupted what no doubt would have started a long argument or a fight. “It’s all right, really.”
“Mikey, it’s not okay, that blasted Captain still wants the right ta fuck you.” Raph growled as he thumbed at Rafieo and glared at him out of the corner of his eye.
“I’m all right with that.” Mikey assured with a soft smile in Rafieo’s direction.
“Shit, yer a faggot too?” Raph suddenly realized at what his brother was hinting at. Mikey winced at the harsh word and looked at the deck, head bowed with shame.
Raph sighed. “Relax, Mikey, forgive my wording, I mean no offense. I’m just surprised our family seemed to raise more homos than father suspected. Damn, it’s a good thing we are becomin’ pirates; less shame to father that way.”
Mikey blinked for a moment as the words sunk in. His eyes widened and his mouth fell open to whisper, “You like men too.”
“No I go down to the docks ta visit with my buddies.” Raph sighed. “It’s got nothin’ ta do with the free booze I get with the free fucks.”
“Captain, it sounds like we need to visit those docks for a while.” Michael declared as he nudged Rafieo and winked.
“Shut yer trap,” Rafieo grinned and pushed Michael playfully. “And you two; sign the damn books and let’s start this party already. I need a drink,”
“Do we sign in ink or blood?” Raph asked as he took the book and turned a few pages to one with enough room for more signatures.
“Either or, lad,” Rafieo explained. Raph nodded and reached for the ink and feather. He quickly jotted his name down in the book and passed it along to his brother.
Mikey frowned and hesitated, the pen in his hand. “What if father ever obtains this book?” He asked quietly, looking at his brother.
“Write down Mikey then,” Raph commented. “I placed Raph in the book. It’s not too different since we’re still signing our souls over to the devil, but we’re not cursin’ the names we were given by mother and father at the very least.” Mikey chewed on his bottom lip but nodded and wrote his new name down.
Rafieo took the book and glanced at the names. “Fancy penmanship,” he commented, slamming the book close. “Now, we party in celebration of these two newcomers!” The crew cheered loudly and a few ran off to fetch booze. “Drink me boys, be hearty and daring throughout the night. You fight only as hard as you can party.” He declared and laughed loudly.
A few of the pirates returned with large barrels filled with liquor and others with mugs. They passed the mugs around and the pirates filled them as they pleased. Mikey held his mug and glanced at his brother as he finished gulping his fill down.
“It seems wrong to be celebrating such a thing.” Mikey admitted.
“Who says you have to celebrate?” Raph asked as he licked his lips. “I certainly am not. I’m trying to drown this horrible future away.”
Mikey’s lips quirked up in the corners of his mouth. “Tell me how well that works for you, brother. We all know how you get when you try to drink your pain away. Should I start to warn the others about how hands-on you get?”
“Shut yer trap,” Raph growled. He glanced down at his empty mug and sighed as he dropped it on the ground. “You make a good point though. The last thing I want is to give one of these boys the wrong impression that I’m interested.”
“I see something I’m interested in,” Rafieo surprised the two as he came up from behind and wrapped an arm around Mikey, lifting him up from the deck and throwing him over his shoulder. “Excuse me fer interrupting your conversation. Oh, this is now yours, lad.” He offered a sheathed dagger to Raph. “I trust ya with it now that yer apart of the crew, plus it works as a kinda ‘welcome aboard’ gift. Mikey will get his own gift soon. Why don’t ya go get friendly with the rest of the crew while I get busy giving Mikey his gift?” Rafieo suggested as he carried Mikey off. Raph rolled his eyes with a growl and leaned against the ship’s railing moodily.
“Leon, come here,” Rafieo motioned his first mate over.
“Need help with that armful, Captain?” Leon asked, smirking at Mikey. Mikey ducked his head down as his face flushed warm.
“Nah, I can handle him well enough.” Rafieo grinned, “But would ya mind watching over Raph?” Rafieo threw a look over his shoulder at the boy. “Just make sure he doesn’t get into any trouble, aye?”
“Aye, Captain,” Leon nodded and Rafieo grinned.
“Good, try ta enjoy yerself then,” Rafieo continued on his way to his room. “I know I will.” He stroked a finger up the back of Mikey’s thighs, making the little turtle shudder excitedly.
Raph stared at the deck and rolled his eyes. As far as he gathered by talking to a few of the pirates that were daring enough to approach him, they were pretty much all bark and no bite. They partied often, fucked daily, and stole every chance they got from other ships. Also, they didn’t have a navigator so they just drifted along the sea.
“Thanks, Simon,” Raph murmured as he eyed the passed out orange pirate on the deck. “Been real helpful,” he stepped around a few other unconscious and loudly snoring pirates and headed down to the lower decks to find his brothers’ cage.
“Donatello,” Raph whispered in-between the bars as he finally arrived. His brother stirred and looked around. Spying him, he smiled. Carefully, Donatello pulled away from Leonardo as the eldest continued to slumber.
“Raphael,” Donatello reached through the bars and Raph caught his hand and brought it up to his face. He kissed the soft palm and Donatello’s smile softened. “You snuck down here?”
“I had to make sure that you were unharmed from the brute that had you earlier.” Raph growled and reached into the cell to cup his brother’s face, running his thumb over the corner of his beak.
Donatello smiled and turned his head to press a kiss to Raph’s thumb. “I am fine, he was nothing compared to you on a passionate night.” Raph chuckled softly. “Leonardo told me that a group of men took the both of you. Brother seems to be fine, but what of your health?”
“Tis nothing,” Raph assured, “I am just sorry that I could not ensure the two of yours’ safeties earlier.”
Donatello scoffed quietly. “The younger brother is worried that he failed to protect the two oldest. You are too good of a brother,”
“I am definitely too good of a man to be on this ship. These fools don’t even have a proper navigator. I am unaware of when you and Leonardo may get home safely. They know not which direction to head for our home even if I were to point it out on the map for them.” Raph sighed and rolled his eyes.
“You jest,” Donatello frowned and shook his head. “Even I know how to navigate a bit. Maybe I should offer my advice to the captain to earn your freedom back?”
“Never,” Raph growled loudly and then silenced himself as he looked over at their still slumbering brother. “Never, Donatello; if these scums found out yer genius they would never release you and my signing would be for nothing.”
“It is a tempting fate then,” Donatello frowned and grabbed Raph’s hand from his face, holding it in his own and squeezing it. “I should rather be damned to a life of pirates if it is a life with you than live on without you.”
“You shall be free,” Raph hissed. “I will not allow three of us ta fall to a life aboard this ship fer the rest of our days.”
“But we could be free upon this ship.” Donatello protested. “Pirates care not for honor; they all have only shame. We could spend full nights with one another and not receive any passing glances.”
Raph shook his head and removed his hand from the cell, slipping it back out through the bars. “Enough of these foolish thoughts; you are better off in a free life without me. Maybe you shall finally be over me once I am out of yer sight.”
“You shall never be out of my mind,” Donatello frowned and reached back out through the bars. “Nor out of my heart.”
Raph frowned and shook his head. “I have damned your soul.” He took Donatello’s hand and pressed a kiss to it.
“Then let us be damned together.” Donatello insisted.
“Your wish will be granted, boy,” The two brothers gasped and looked over to the dark figure stepping out of the shadows. Leon smirked and crossed his arms over his plastron as he looked at Donatello appraisingly. “A navigator is a very useful member for this ship.”
“It would be best fer ya ta hold yer tongue, scum.” Raph growled and stepped in front of the cell, as though to hide Donatello from view. “I sold my soul to Captain fer his protection.”
Leon shrugged. “That was before Captain was aware that your lover could navigate.” He smirked as he watched the two turtles both stare at him wide eyed. “By the way, that was a very touching moment between the two of you. Born as brothers but becoming secret lovers; you two damned yourselves before you even stepped foot aboard this ship. It’s rather fitting,” He turned around and headed for the stairs. “Captain will be pleased with what I learned by trailing you, Raph.” Then he was lost to the shadows once more.
“I shall not allow this.” Raph snarled and headed after him.
“Raphael,” Donatello cried out but was ignored. He sighed and slumped against the bars.
“Brother?” Leonardo stirred and ran to his side. “Donatello, what has happened?”
“I think I have just caused a very large problem.” Donatello murmured miserably.
“Captain, captain!” Rafieo’s eyes shot open with a glare and he quickly leaped out of the bed. He hurried over to the door, nearly tripping over his discarded clothes, and threw the door open.
“Shut yer fuckin’ trap,” Rafieo growled. He didn’t want anyone waking Mikey up; the lad had earned a few hours of rest. “Now what the hell do ya want, Leon?” He glowered at his first mate.
“I have some grand news that you must hear, Captain.” Leon announced just as Raph appeared beside him.
“I believe he has no news rather than he has drunk one too many tonight.” Raph growled, glaring at Leon. “And it shall be the last he shall drink if he has my say.” He threatened, one hand petting the dagger he had attached to a stolen belt around his waist.
“Well it is a good thing I do not worry about your say, little lad.” Leon snarled and Raph took a step towards him, fists clenched at his sides.
“If ya like where yer shell is, you should be worrying.” Raph warned.
“Hush, the both of you.” Rafieo snarled and stepped out of his room and closed the door behind him carefully. “I shall not stand for a fight outside my doors at such a time. You two may fight below decks later, when I’m actually awake and willing to watch a fight. First, Leon, what of your supposed grand news?”
“We have a navigator aboard our ship now, Captain.” Leon smiled, an evil curl to his beak. Rafieo’s eyes widened and he grinned, awakened by the news.
“Yer shittin’ me?” He slapped Leon on the shoulder. “That is grand news. Who is he?” He looked over at Raph expectantly.
“The little olive toned boy,” Leon informed.
“Captain, you can not listen to this fool.” Raph growled. “I know my brother--”
“Rather intimately, it seems.” Leon smirked.
“Hold yer tongue before I slice it out of yer mouth.” Raph snarled.
“Honestly it makes sense why he could prepare himself so properly.” Leon licked his beak. “His knowledge made it quite enjoyable for me; I was able to slide right into him with a gentle ease. He even knew not to tense and how to breathe with my thrusts.”
Raph snarled and pulled the dagger he was given out of its holder. “I will fuckin’ cut yer dick right off if you continued to talk about Donatello in such a manner.”
“You’re rather testy when others talk about fucking your brother, hm? Don’t like knowing you are no longer the only one to breach him?” Leon crossed his arms over his plastron and looked down at Raph challengingly.
“I have never violated my brother.” Raph murmured dangerously through clenched teeth.
“Yes, I bet he was rather willing for you. Or was he the first time? Did he send you looks first or did he simply present himself to you one night? Were you the one to present the idea to him even?” Leon pressed.
“Fuck you,” Raph jumped at Leon but was knocked out of the way by a hard punch to his jaw.
“Put yer weapon away now, boy.” Rafieo growled, outraged by the attack. “How dare you try to attack one of yer own crewmates with a weapon; that is against our code, we fight one another with fists and fists only. If you ever try to treason against a fellow crewmate again I shall see you stranded on an island with only a pistol as your companion.” Raph placed his dagger away and stood, rubbing at his face. “Now, I will leave this be since it is your second night on this ship. Besides, I understand how prissy boys are raised to defend honor and Leon was talking shit on yer man.”
“My brother,” Raph hissed. “He is not my man.” He stressed.
“Fine then,” Rafieo nodded his head. “But if that is the case then once he is apart of this crew, because if he is a navigator he will be joining this crew, he can be courted by others to be in their bed.”
“My brother has no knowledge of navigating.” Raph insisted.
“Well, we’ll find out about that in the morning.” Rafieo glanced at the two. “Get to your proper quarters now. I want the two of you to leave each other be for the rest of the night. We shall meet at the cells in the morning.” Rafieo stared at the two and threw a hand out, pointing away. “Good night,” He ordered and the two begrudgingly left.
Rafieo rubbed at his temples and reentered his room. “Rafieo?” Mikey called from the bed as he sat up and rubbed at his eyes.
“Hush, Michelangelo,” Rafieo smiled at the sight of the boy, looking so innocent, as he attempted to fight off sleep. “Rest yer head once more,” Rafieo ordered and pushed Mikey to lay back down as he resumed his position next to him and wrapped the boy in his arms once again.
The next morning, Rafieo followed the normal routine but with a companion the entire time. He allowed Mikey to walk around nude for the time being, since the boy didn’t really have anything to wear yet. He would trust his crew to eventually find something for him to wear.
He strode out of his room and headed down to the kitchen area, greeting Simon loudly, as he knew the chief would have a hangover. Simon always partied hard. He swiped two sweet rolls from the cook and handed one to Mikey to munch on as the boy insisted on trailing behind him as he roamed the ship over. Rafieo took it as a perfect opportunity to give Mikey a tour.
Rafieo showed Mikey the liquor room, the gold room, the men’s room where all the men slept which wasn’t meant to be confused for a bathroom, and finally what he called the advanced men’s room.
“Wake the hell up!” Rafieo greeted as he slammed the door open, revealing a room similar to his own private quarters except that the room was shared by three.
“You suck, Captain,” Michael complained as he picked himself off the floor. He was always startled awake by Rafieo, no matter how many times the Captain woke him up in such a manner.
“And a good morning ta you too, Michael,” Rafieo chuckled and started to assign the morning assignments to his top three trusted men. “Leon, you and Raph have a matter ta discuss with me this morning. Donald, I want you to make sure no one drowned last night in the booze. Michael, you, me lad, get the honor of introducing Mikey here to the crew. Also, find him something to dress in, will ya?”
Michael was almost instantly awake then. “Aye, aye, Captain!” He saluted happily.
Rafieo chuckled and leaned over to whisper to Mikey, “Michael always dreamed of being a clothes designer. He’s got a real talent with a needle and some string.” Mikey nodded and smiled at Michael. “Right then,” Rafieo motioned to Leon once he had retrieved his patch and pants. “Let’s go find our other new mate.”
They traveled quietly back to the men’s room. Raph nearly crashed into them as he rushed to leave the room. “Your men attacked me.” Raph snarled accusingly, pointing into the room where a few other crewmates were smiling and waving.
“How so, lad?” Rafieo asked, looking the boy up and down. Raph now wore a red vest and a matching bandana with a black rainbow image on it. “It just looks like they got you dressed.”
“Exactly,” Raph crossed his arms over his plastron. “They tackled me out of my hammock and forced me into this excuse of an outfit.”
“Well, if ya’d rather walk around naked then by all means go fer it. We’ll see how long you last like that.” Rafieo winked and Raph narrowed his eyes and ducked his head down. “Alright then, let’s head on over and wish your brothers a hearty good morning, aye?” Raph nodded and trailed behind Leon and Rafieo as they headed to the cells.
“Good morning,” Rafieo smiled at seeing the two captives awake. “And how did you two sleep? Did you find your rooms accommodating or would ya like ta be upgraded to a bigger cell for an extra charge?”
“What do you want?” Leonardo asked, his eyes narrowed.
Rafieo ignored the question and met Donatello’s eyes. “We’ve heard news of you bein’ a navigator, lad. Is it the truth?” Rafieo asked.
Donatello’s eyes glanced at Raph for a moment and saw how upset his brother looked. He stared at the captain again, “It is purely fiction, sir, I assure you. Why would a nobleman’s son be taught navigation?”
“I’m not too sure but then again, we didn’t find any navigator on your ship when we took over.” Rafieo commented, “Plus you four seem to be wise for being prissy lads. There were never any others that tried to hide their gender in a dress. Was that yer idea, lad?” Rafieo questioned accusingly.
“No sir,” Donatello denied.
“So you deny being clever even though there is proof that you were able to outsmart a few of my boys?” Rafieo raised an eye ridge suspiciously.
“With no disrespect, sir, tis’ not too much of a challenge to outwit a pirate,” Donatello smirked.
Rafieo chuckled and nodded his head. “True that, lad, but it was rather clever of you ta think ahead with that knife.” Rafieo met Donatello’s eyes and held his stare. “Preparing yourself for suicide ahead of time is not what most would think about which shows you think more than most.” Donatello swallowed and glanced over at Raph once more. Raph’s eyes were wide and disbelieving, as though he could not imagine that Donatello had tried to take his own life. “Can’t deny that, can ya? Not while you still bare the marks ya caused yourself,” Rafieo smirked, his eyes glancing down to the old wrap around Donatello’s wrist. “So, would you like to answer my question truthfully now, lad, or continue lying?”
“Which question would that be?” Donatello asked, playing dumb still.
“The one you lied about,” Rafieo shot right back.
“Yes, sir, I did think of the idea of wearing dresses to hide ourselves from you and your crew’s eyes.” Donatello answered honestly. “As for all the other questions, they may as well have been lies as well for it doesn’t seem to matter since you act as though your mind is made up.”
“So you can navigate this ship,” Rafieo smugly grinned at the boy. “Wonderful,” he unlocked the cell and swung the door open. “Welcome aboard,” Donatello glanced at Leonardo and frowned as he walked out of the cell. The door slammed shut and Donatello looked back in at his lone brother. His eyes widened at the look of result on the eldest. He could tell that Leonardo was about to do something desperate.
“You went back on your word, Captain,” Leonardo challenged.
Rafieo glanced at him and nodded, “I’m a pirate, lad, we tend ta do such things.”
“That’s not honorable,” Leonardo growled.
“What would a pirate do with honor?” Leon snorted and rolled his eyes.
“Do not make my other brother sign your book. You have damned two of my brothers to your crew; I shall not allow you to take another. Especially when Raphael sacrificed himself for the two of us,” Leonardo threatened.
“Your brother is a navigator; that’s worth more than gold out on the sea.” Rafieo explained to him. “We will not let him go.”
“He will navigate this ship to our home,” Leonardo bartered. “Then once there, I shall obtain another navigator for you, to trade with.”
Rafieo’s eyes widened slightly with his smile. “You’d trade another’s soul for your brother’s?”
“Of course,” Leonardo nodded.
“I’ll only agree on one condition,” Rafieo offered. “While your brother takes us to your little home, you have to work on our ship. Just do a few odd jobs here and there; it’ll beat you wallowing in this cell by yerself.”
“Fine,” Leonardo narrowed his eyes at the floor.
“Captain, are you sure about that?” Leon frowned.
“He’ll just be a cabin boy,” Rafieo shrugged his shoulders and opened the door once more. “Besides, might as well let him out and about instead of thinkin’ of ways to go back on his own word while sitting down here. Too much time ta think is unhealthy for a boy his age.” Rafieo chuckled.
“Our deal still holds on then?” Raph spoke up, glaring daggers at Rafieo. “No one shall touch either Donatello or Leonardo, even if they are running free around your ship?”
“Aye, no one shall touch them.” Rafieo smirked, “Unless they want to be touched. It is not my place ta judge whatever you boys do when off orders.”
“Don’t think so lowly of my brothers, Captain.” Raph frowned. “They aren’t normal prissy boys.”
“Raphael, will you please talk to me?” Donatello, recently renamed Don, asked as he finally managed to find a spare moment with his brother. He had needed a break from the frustratingly, pathetic maps and navigating gear the ship had. He had decided to hunt down his brother and try to talk to him since Raphael had been distant from him for the past three days, ever since he was released from the cell and declared an honorary member of the crew. “It is not like I was planning on any of this to happen. Besides, once I navigate this ship home your deal will still hold firm. I cannot see why you are so upset with me.”
Raph turned quickly and grabbed Donatello’s wrist, holding it up to his eye level. “You were planning on killing yourself.” He growled.
Don’s face scrunched up into one of pain and he pulled his arm free of his brother’s grip. “It was the more honorable decision. Besides,” Don reached out and hesitantly cupped Raph’s face. “I did not wish for any other man to touch me in a way reserved only for you.”
Raph slapped Don’s hand away as his eyes darted around the room they were in. Most of the crew seemed to be above on deck at the time, due to afternoon jobs and cleaning up the decks from the party the night before. “Do not speak of such things anymore, ‘tis not safe on this ship. Haven’t ya learned that yet? Leon, that ass, might still be trailin’ me.” Raph turned his back to Don and continued to walk away from him.
Don growled and ran forward shoving his brother. Raph stumbled forward a few steps and turned around staring at Donatello unbelievingly. “Did ya shove me?”
“You do not have the right to get angry at me for attempting to take my life, for a good reason, and then tell me that I no longer have the right to show my feelings for you.” Donatello seethed. “I will not be treated in such a manner. Spending so many days among pirates has obviously made you forget yourself and me as well. I am still your older brother and you do not have the right to treat me in such a dishonorable manner.”
Raphael tilted his head forward and chuckled darkly, looking at his brother with narrowed eyes. “Forgive me for settling into my role, dear brother.” He snarled the last two words, the growl in his voice sounding menacing. “This is the pirate’s life; there is no honor, there is nothing that we were taught of back on land here. I am a pirate now and if I want to be angry because you were gonna leave me, allow me to have my last memory of you be one of you being dragged away by other men, then I can have that right. In fact, on this ship, I have the right to practically do anything. In fact, I finally have the right to have a sinful relationship with you,” he frowned, his anger dwindling, “And I find myself rethinking it.”
Donatello felt his mouth fall open as he stared at his brother, hurt beyond belief by his words. “You do not mean such things. Please, assure me that anger has merely clouded your mind.”
“I am sober from all anger,” Raphael stated as he inhaled deeply. “Besides, I cannot see why you would mind my opinion now when ya didn’t earlier this week. You were willing to leave me, permanently. Once you direct this cursed ship back home, you will still leave me permanently. So we are nothing but brothers fer however long it takes you to get us home. After that, then I will be nothing ta ya,” Raph turned his shell to Donatello. “That’s how things will be and how they should be.” He stared straight ahead and walked away from his brother.
Donatello stood, still as a statue, as he watched his brother’s retreating form.
“Mikey, you seem in a good mood this morning,” Michael observed as he watched the little boy stroll across the ship’s deck. His hips were swinging as the tight short jeans Michael had given him days earlier hugged tightly around the bottom of his shell and plastron.
“It is a wonderful morning,” Mikey declared as he saluted to Michael and Simon. “After all, Simon made cream filled donuts.”
Simon chuckled, “But didn’t that donut you bit into spill all over your chin?” He asked as he adjusted the grey apron tied around him.
“Exactly,” Mikey smirked, “Who do you think cleaned me up afterwards?”
“Only after he got you a tad messier, am I right?” Michael chuckled, his long tongue falling out of his mouth and brushing against the piercing in his neck. “Yuck,” he grimaced and his tongue quickly recoiled. “I hate when that happens.”
Mikey frowned. “I was wondering why you have those piercings, if you don’t mind me asking. It is just that they remind me of the spikes Rafieo has in his chin and the ones Donald bears on his head. They seem so painful; why would you three get them?”
“Honestly, we didn’t want them.” Michael frowned.
“Michael and Rafieo gained those when they were slaves to this ship, back as small lads.” Simon started as he placed one of his large orange hands comfortingly on Michael’s shoulder. “Four markings near the head were the old Captain’s mark.”
“Rafieo wasn’t always the captain?” Mikey asked, curious.
“This boat was once a slave ship, Mikey,” Raph spoke up suddenly, as he jumped down from the ropes attached to the mast, hanging above them. “Rafieo was able to take over with the help from Michael, Donald, and Leon.”
“How do you know that, Raph?” Mikey asked his brother.
Raph sat down on the ship’s railing. “It said so briefly in that accursed book.”
“Stop calling our articles as cursed,” Michael scowled. “That book is our law now and you should treat it better.”
Raph rolled his eyes. “Fine, my superior,” He sneered, “But would ya mind continuing with yer tale? I am rather curious myself.”
“What’s there to tell? Rafieo, Donald and I were all sold as children to a slave ship because our parents saw us as defected. My tongue wasn’t pleasing to my mother and father, Donald’s mother died during his birth so his father saw him as displeasing right away, not to mention his tail, and Rafieo was born gay and too open about it at such a young age.” Michael shrugged. “We got onto this ship, got marked by old Captain Asshole, and Rafieo managed to sweet talk his way with Leon while he was serving as cabin boy. During an attack from another ship, Leon released and hid us. Rafieo managed to get a hold of the dagger he still carries to this day and once the battle died down and the Asshole won, he jumped out and slit his throat.” Michael grinned viciously. “The bastard sure had a lot of blood for not having a heart.”
“And Rafieo was just appointed captain, just like that?” Mikey asked. He couldn’t believe that pirates were so easily appointed.
“Of course not,” Michael frowned. “But the old crew was injured so they were easy for us to beat. We released the other slaves and they helped us work the ship for a while until Rafieo set up the articles and declared this ship as the Flaming Rainbow, the first gay pirate ship on the seas. The slaves that were straight were released on a shore and we picked up others that were cast away from society. We found Simon right away.”
“Honestly, how hard was it to find a gay pastry chef?” Simon asked as he leaned against the railing. “Especially when the bunch of you fagots found me outside of my shop getting a blowjob.”
Michael snickered. “Yeah, and we took Franklin aboard as well.”
“I don’t see why though.” Simon frowned, “It’s not like you needed an accountant on a pirate ship.”
“Well, we did need more gays.” Michael pointed out and Simon nodded in agreement. “Luckily for us, we find a bunch of queers when we defeat a ship.”
“Or you just find a bunch of guys and turn them gay.” Simon snickered.
“True,” Michael nodded with a giggle.
“You all rape and pillage others on the sea and laugh about it?” Leonardo growled as he strolled past the group, bucket and mop in hand. “Dishonorable,”
“The sea’s a cruel place,” Michael glared. “If you don’t like it, you shouldn’t have set sail. I didn’t have a choice. I was shoved out to sea and I’m stuck here. Forgive me for making it fun for myself.” Michael scowled and walked away.
“Honestly, priss boy,” Simon sneered. “I’d watch what you’d say on this ship. After all, you’re the one straight boy on this ship.”
“My brothers are not like you, if that is what you are implying.” Leonardo snapped as he placed the bucket down and stabbed the mop into the pale. “They are simply making the best of this situation; they do not enjoy keeping the company of men, especially men such as this crew.”
Simon glanced at Mikey and Raph. Mikey had his head ducked down and Raph was avoiding eye contact with everyone. “This ship has sailed on the Nile before,” Simon murmured and bumped shoulders with Raph as he headed back to the kitchen under deck.
“Do not get acquainted with these men and do not believe their tales.” Leonardo warned his brothers. “They are trying to get your trust. Keep on acting and once we are home we will be free, all four of us.” Leonardo assured with a nod of his head, making it finale.
“What are you three chatting about?” Rafieo asked with a wide grin as he stomped up to the trio. Leon and Donald were trailing behind him, casting glares and accusing stares.
“Nothing, Captain,” Raph muttered. He jumped down from the railing and quickly grabbed onto a low hanging rope, climbing up it. He climbed up the rope until he hit the wooden horizontal part of the mass and sat atop of it, staring out of the sea.
“I don’t understand why he doesn’t just sit in the crow’s nest,” Rafieo chuckled, good naturedly. He glanced down at Mikey and caught the boy staring intently at his face with a frown. “What’s wrong, lad?” He frowned and glanced at Leonardo who was mopping the deck. “Cabin boy,” he growled.
Leonardo stopped mopping and looked over his shoulder at Rafieo. “Aye, Captain?” He narrowed his eyes.
“What did ya say ta upset yer brothers?” Rafieo demanded to know.
“It wasn’t him, Captain,” Mikey quickly spoke up. “It was Simon and Michael. They were just explaining to me how you came about being the captain and why you, Michael, and Donald all bare such horrible piercings on your face.”
Rafieo frowned and lifted a hand to touch one of the spikes coming out of his face. He shrugged nonchalantly. “It makes me look tougher, wouldn’t ya say?” He smiled tightly.
Mikey glanced at his brother, who had gone back to mopping, and sighed. “I believe I will retire to the room until lunch, Captain.” He bowed his head slightly and headed to the room.
Rafieo watched him retreat and glared at Leonardo’s shell. “Donald, make sure this lad here isn’t left alone with any of his brothers again. Leon, I want you to watch the navigator.”
“Don’t you trust my brothers, Captain?” Leonardo asked, not looking away from his mopping job.
“I trust them,” Rafieo stated. “It’s you, straight boy, that I don’t trust.” He walked past Leonardo and headed below deck, Leon trailing behind him.
Donald leaned against the ship’s railing and watched Leonardo intently. “I never got the opportunity to fuck you while I had the chance but I heard you were a real tight ass.” Donald commented as though he was having a normal conversation on the weather. “It’s rather funny that it imitates your personality.”
“I watched you fuck my younger brother,” Leonardo glanced at Donald from the corner of his eyes. “It’ll be rather funny when I watch you die as well.”
Donald smirked. “We’ll see about that, boy.” He pushed away from the railing and his long tail snapped out at the bucket, knocking it over. “By the way, you missed a spot.”
“Michelangelo,” Rafieo closed the door behind him as he entered his private quarters. Mikey was sitting on their bed, waiting for him. “What is the matter, lad?” He asked, concerned to see the sad expression still on the boy’s face.
Mikey looked at him and extended his arms. Rafieo rubbed the back of his neck but went forward and allowed the arms to wrap around his neck as he wrapped his own arms around the boy’s smaller form. He allowed the boy to hug him for a moment but slowly pulled back. Mikey’s hands gently touched one of his spikes and Rafieo frowned.
“I never realized they bothered ya so much, lad.” Rafieo also touched a spike on his face. “I realize they aren’t too appealing but they don’t hurt or nothing.”
“It’s not that,” Mikey shook his head. “I just realized that,” he sighed. “Never mind, it was a silly thought.” Mikey forced a smile. “Well, we’re both on the bed, Rafieo, what would you like to do?” Mikey leaned back and spread his legs apart so that Rafieo was in-between them.
Rafieo smiled and leaned forward, pressing a kiss to Mikey’s forehead. “I would like for you to tell me what your thought was fer I won’t think it to be a silly one.”
Mikey frowned as Rafieo moved from in-between his legs and took a seat beside him on the bed. “To be honest, Rafieo, I know that you don’t think of me as anything other than a means of pleasure. But I see you as my intimate other, as my lover.” Mikey ducked his head, embarrassed. “Only now do I realize how silly that thought is. I barely know a thing about you.”
Rafieo frowned and gently tipped Mikey’s head up so that the boy could look him in the eyes. “That’s not a silly thought.” He pressed a kiss to Mikey’s beak. “Although it is a fairly false thought for I do not see you only as a means of pleasure. I do receive pleasure from you but not in the way you think. Sure, yer a good fuck, but I also get pleasure just from seeing you smile, lad.” Mikey smiled and Rafieo smiled as well. “Ya see?” He nuzzled at Mikey’s neck. “I see you as my lover too, Michelangelo. Why do you think I keep you up in my room?”
“I am sorry for misjudging you, Rafieo.” Mikey nuzzled against Rafieo’s plastron as he moved to sit in the other’s lap.
Rafieo smiled and wrapped his arms over Mikey’s plastron. He rested his head atop of Mikey’s and inhaled deeply. “Ya want ta learn a few things about me.”
“Yes,” Mikey whispered.
“Up until the age of twelve I didn’t know how to swim.” Rafieo admitted.
“Really?” Mikey asked, a small grin crossing his face. “That doesn’t sound too becoming for a pirate captain.”
“I was aware although I was not aware that I would one day be a captain especially of a pirate ship.” Rafieo continued to hold Mikey as they talked freely about their childhood. Rafieo told Mikey of simple facts and events he remembered, things that weren’t common knowledge with the crew but very special to him. They were the memories he clung to of his past life.
Mikey told of playing around his home with his brothers as a child. Of his mother’s gentle touch and his father’s kind smile. He explained how his mother got sick and passed away. Mikey described how his father became colder and seemingly unapproachable as he became more demanding and less understanding.
Slowly, the two connected in a way they never had with another. They realized that they were more than what they had thought.
“Thank you kindly for your help, Leon.” Donatello offered a small smile as he rubbed at his tired eyes. “These maps were so outdated; they were beginning to give me a headache trying to adjust them to the seas now.”
“I figured we took out that ship, the least we could do was grab a few of their maps as well as everything else they have. Anything to help you out, Don,” Leon smiled widely.
Don stared at the first mate and his eyes narrowed. “I’m not sure what your motives behind helping me are but let me be blunt and tell you that I will not be getting back into bed with you. I have safety from Captain Rafieo.”
Leon chuckled and adjusted the strap that ran across his plastron and over one shoulder, holding his long sword. “Do not worry about that, Don. One time in bed with you was enough for me.”
“You aren’t going to apologize for raping me? I heard Raph has received an apology from Michael and Simon, at least.” Don pointed out as he rolled out one of the new maps he had received.
“That is because Raph is a new member of the crew and most of us don’t want hard feelings being around. You aren’t a real member.” Leon smirked and crossed his arms over his plastron. “Besides, there’s nothing I regret. You were a good fuck.”
Don’s eyes narrowed and he looked pointedly at the door. “Well, thank you again for the maps.”
Leon chuckled again. “You’re welcome, boy. I just hope they’re in the right area of your home so you and your other brother can get home faster. Now then, you’re more than welcome to join the party if you want to. Everyone celebrates when we reign in goods from a ship.”
“No thank you. I have no interest in celebrating with pirates.” Don stated as he grabbed another map.
“Fine,” Leon shrugged and headed for the door only for it to swing open.
“Donnie,” Raph had a smile on his face but it fell when he saw Leon in the room with his brother. “What are ya doing in here?”
“I was just giving your brother a gift.” Leon replied smugly.
“Really,” Raph’s eyes narrowed. “Well, I wanted to do the same.” He strode forward, a book in hand, and held it for Don to take.
Don looked at the book to Raph and frowned. “Why give me a gift, brother? What could possibly be the occasion?”
Raph frowned and sat the book down; he looked at Leon and glared. “You could leave.”
“And I could stay, seeing as it is Captain’s orders that Don and Leonardo are not allowed to be left alone with neither you nor your brother Mikey.” Leon leaned against the door and waited.
Raph sighed. “Fine, stay, it doesn’t bother me.” He focused on Don again. “I saw this book and it made me nostalgic.” He pushed the book closer to Don. “I just,” he glanced at Leon and sighed again. “I wanted you ta have it.” He shrugged his shoulders, pulling the red vest tighter against his plastron with the motion. “I’ll see ya around, Don.” Raph walked out of the room, casting a glare at Leon on his way out of the door.
Don picked up the book and read the title. It was a collection of the Brother’s Grimm Fairy Tales. He couldn’t help but smile at the book. It was a very intimate gesture coming from Raph, all things considered. The Brother’s Grimm was the first book Donatello had learned to read on his own and had read aloud to his brothers. Leonardo had grown bored with the stories and Michelangelo had been frightened by them. Raphael had loved listening to Donatello read and went to him almost every night while they were little to ask for a tale to be read to him.
When they were older, Raphael would still come to Donatello to hear a story every now and again but different, more advanced tales. One night, Raphael had brought the Brother’s Grimm to Donatello and asked for one of their old favorites. Donatello had grinned and read a tale from the book. After he had finished, Raphael had leaned over and pressed a hesitant kiss to his beak. It was their first kiss.
Don caressed the book’s cover and smiled softly. He understood an apology from Raph when he saw one. He glanced up at Leon and found the pirate glaring at the book.
“I suppose I’ll leave you and your new gifts alone now.” Leon made to leave but stopped at Don’s words.
“Your gifts wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact that you want me back home so you can get my brother once his heartbreaks by my absence, does it?” Donatello asked, his eyes narrowed on the other.
Leon glanced over his shoulder, a prominent smirk on his face. “You are such a clever turtle.” He closed the door behind him, only for the door to open a few moments later.
Raphael stormed angrily into the room. “Were you flirting with Leon?” Raph accused.
“What if I was, brother?” Don’s eyes narrowed on the last word. “Do you have something to say about it?” The book was a sweet gesture but Raph had hurt Don with words and Don demanded healing words for it.
Raph growled, his hands curling into fists at his sides. “Yes, actually,” Raph pushed his brother back up against a wall and pressed against him, his cotton vest brushing against Don’s bare upper plastron. He leaned in close, his breath floating over Don’s face, “Because you are forbidden to look or act with anyone other than me.” He quickly pressed their beaks together, thrusting his tongue inside to twirl around with Don’s own.
They finally broke apart for a moment to breathe in each other’s air. Don had his arms wrapped around Raph’s neck as Raph’s own hands rested on his hips, his thumbs playing with Don’s shorts. “I thought you had claimed that we were to be brothers and brothers only.”
“You know how fickle I can be.” Raph reminded. “And what I said was in a fit of rage. I want to push ya away, because it’s going to hurt me when you leave and I want to protect myself. But pushing you away hurt me too,” Raph leaned down and nuzzled Don’s neck. “Yer just too addictive fer me to stay away from.”
“You don’t have to stay away from me. Leonardo has been figuring out a way to save you and Mikey from a fate serving on this ship.” Don informed.
“And return to the rules of father where we must hide our feelings?” Raph asked with a frown. “I’m finally aloud to be open around men here. I hear them talk about the taste of dick and vulgar things openly around here. In fact, only moments ago I was invited to partake into an orgy.” Raph chuckled as Don glared at that. “I rejected the offer of course. I am here, am I not?”
“You are,” Don smiled and nuzzled Raph’s neck. “And I understand why you would not wish to leave this freedom. Maybe we could both stay.”
“Maybe--” Raph closed his mouth as the door burst open again. He quickly pulled away from Don and stared at the empty doorway. “Who is there?”
“Oh, Raphael,” Leonardo appeared in the doorway and quickly closed the door behind him. “I am glad you are here. Those disgusting pirates are committing crimes I do not wish to speak of on the deck. I was lucky to not be seen on my way here.” Leonardo shuddered. “I have figured a way to get a message out to father, although it is a simple tactic. I fear it is our only choice.”
“What is it?” Don asked.
“A message in a bottle,” Leonardo presented an empty wine bottle. “I was able to collect plenty of them and I figured if we wrote out enough and sent them out with our coordinates of where we are and where we are heading, one would surely be found by father’s ships or one of the other noblemen’s.”
“It is our only idea so far,” Don sighed. “It will have to do.”
“I should leave. If Captain Rafieo found me in here conversing with the two of ya he will think I am committing treason. I am, but he does not need to be informed of that.” Raph smirked and quickly left the room. He closed the door behind him and frowned. What was he suppose to do? Betray his oldest brother and damn his other one to a life of sin with him?
“Blast me and my frail heart,” He murmured as he walked onto deck, avoiding the mass coupling going on. He needed a strong drink.
“Is that a normal occurrence, Captain?” Mikey asked the next morning as he strolled on deck next to Rafieo. Most of the crew was passed out on the deck, still naked.
“Not really,” Rafieo frowned and picked up a beer container that had been spilled. “They are usually more careful with the booze.” He smirked and cupped his hands over his mouth. “Get the fuck up!” He shouted, making the crewmembers jerk awake. The group all moaned and rubbed at their eyes, some rubbing at their backsides as well.
“Good morning, princesses,” Rafieo grinned and crossed his arms over his plastron. “You lazy good fer nothings should be glad I got a man ta satisfy me now or else I’d give ya all something ta really moan about this morning.”
“Is that a promise, Captain?” Michael asked cheekily from the group as he stood up and stretched.
Rafieo rolled his eyes and picked up an empty beer bottle from the ground, tossing it in Michael’s general direction. Michael yelped and dodged the flying bottle. It cracked and shattered on the ground behind him. “I want ya all ta get to work cleaning this deck up.” Rafieo ordered. The group moaned loudly and a few booed at their captain as well. Rafieo ignored them.
“Isn’t cleaning up our messes why we have a cabin boy, Captain?” One of the men asked. A few of the others agreed with him.
“He’s not a real cabin boy.” Rafieo argued. “Besides, he,” Rafieo paused and scratched his chin. “I told Donald to look after him. If Donald’s up here,” He pointed to Donald sitting up in the middle of the crowd. “Then where the hell is that boy?” Rafieo’s eyes narrowed and he quickly went to the stairs leading below deck.
Mikey stood on deck for a few moments as he wondered if he was supposed to follow Rafieo or not. He decided to follow him and he would just leave if Rafieo told him to. “Morning, Raph,” Mikey grinned as he passed his brothers on the stairs.
Raph grunted an acknowledgment and stretched as he stepped on deck. “You look well rested,” Michael observed as he stood from picking up shards of glass from the bottle Rafieo had thrown.
“It was wonderful sleeping down there without any of yer snoring.” Raph remarked and playfully punched Michael in the shoulder. “How’d you sleep?”
“With men surrounding me,” Michael grinned widely and Raph chuckled. “It doesn’t seem like we were the only ones who slept with company though.” Michael motioned behind Raph.
Raph turned around and caught sight of Don and Leon talking to each other as they strode up from the lower decks. Don had a wide grin on his face.
“It looks like your brother is flirting with Leon,” Simon noted, pointing out the sight to Raph. “I wouldn’t be too surprised though; Leon is very fun in bed.” Raph’s eyes narrowed and he growled lowly in his throat. Donatello never did confirm if he had been flirting with Leon or not. An idea passed through his mind and Raph smirked widely.
“Yo, Donnie boy,” Raph sauntered up to his brother with a mischievous grin on his face. “Come here, brother, I have something ta tell you.”
“If you’ll excuse me,” Don bowed his head slightly, still not fully broken from his previous lifestyle, and went to Raph’s side. He was honestly glad for any excuse to get away from Leon, even though he had enjoyed bragging about Raph to Leon. “Yes, Raph, what is--” He didn’t get to finish his question as Raph suddenly pulled him into a kiss, pressing his body right against Donatello’s, for all to see.
Don froze, his eyes widening and darting around to everyone on deck who now seemed to be staring at them. But then Raph’s tongue dipped into his mouth at the same time his hand ran right underneath his shell and he churred as he closed his eyes and lifted one leg to rub his thigh against Raph’s own. Raph knew exactly where to touch him and it had been far too long since he was touch in such places.
As suddenly as it had begun, it ended though. Raph pulled away with a final swipe of his tongue against Don’s beak, his smile still plastered on his face. “Don’t you go forgetting who you really belong to, my brother.” He stated as he thumbed Don’s cheekbone and then went back to stand with his newly found pirate friends.
Don stood on deck, mouth still open and tasting of Raph. He was a little stunned about what had just happened.
“Wow,” Don jumped and looked to his side to see his other little brother staring at him. “I always thought you and Raph didn’t get along. Now I get it though; that was all a façade so you two wouldn’t get caught doing the nasty together.” Mikey grinned.
“Mikey,” Don’s face flushed. “That’s not it at all.” He argued and glanced at Raph who was still smiling and watching the whole discussion with Mikey like it was an opera that their father was forcing them to see but was actually good.
“Really, then what would you call what had just happened?” Mikey asked as he gestured over towards Raph.
“That’s just how pirate brothers greet each other,” Don nodded his head, trying to encourage his brother to believe his obvious lie. “I just read it in a book and Raph was helping me demonstrate.”
“Oh,” Mikey rolled his eyes. “Right, I’ll believe that when you lock lips with me. Just admit that you and Raph have always had a thing, brother. I don’t care if,” Mikey stopped as Don started towards him, licking his lips nervously. “What are you doing, Donnie?” Mikey asked as he narrowed his eyes at the hand on his shoulder.
“Making you believe.” Don stated solemnly and pulled Mikey into a kiss. Mikey’s reaction matched Don’s initial one as he stood there, unresponsive and wide eyed. That is until Mikey eagerly jumped into the kiss and then just as quickly pulled away.
“Oh gods,” Mikey’s eyes were wide.
“Relax, Mikey,” Don wiped at his mouth and glanced at Raph to judge his reaction. It didn’t seem like he had minded too much. “See, it was just a brotherly, platonic kiss that men at sea do to imitate their family’s love that they can’t receive while on land.”
“Yeah, well you have better have the book that you read that from to show to Rafieo then.” Mikey tilted his head to the side and Don froze as he slowly glanced to see Captain Rafieo standing there staring at them both. Don was aware of the unspoken rule that his little brother was untouchable to everyone but Rafieo.
“I am so sorry, Captain,” Don apologized and bowed quickly. “I meant neither disrespect to you nor your rules. I was simply--”
“Kiss him again,” Rafieo interrupted Don’s rambling apology.
Don stood up straight, shocked at the request. “Captain?”
“Again,” Rafieo pointed his finger at the two of them. “But use more tongue this time. If yer gonna make a show for all the crew to watch,” He then motioned to the large group that had all gathered to watch the two, fair boys make out. They were all eager for a show and more than eager for any excuse to get them out of cleaning the deck. “Then make it a good show.” Rafieo grinned.
Mikey chuckled. “I see an added partner in our future,” he murmured as he took another step towards Don. “So, let me get this straight, er, queer,” he corrected himself. “We greet each other like this, right, Don?” Mikey closed his eyes and leaned into Donnie, his open mouth covering his brother’s mouth.
Don closed his eyes and opened his own mouth at the sensation of his little brother’s eager tongue as it searched for an opening. Mikey pulled his mouth away a little but enticed Don’s tongue out to play with his own for everyone to see.
Rafieo churred his approval but wanted more of a show. “Don’t be afraid to use your hands now, boys.” He ordered and the two quickly went to work trailing over one another’s body. Mikey sucked Don’s tongue into his mouth as Don lightly traced his collarbone.
“Captain, Donnie can do a full body shudder if you squeeze his tail.” Raph offered helpfully as he watched with the rest of the people on deck.
“Well then,” Rafieo grinned at the new information. “Mikey, squeeze your brother’s tail.” Mikey eagerly dipped his hand in between Don’s legs to go behind and grab Don’s tail. Don gasped, his tongue retreating back into his own mouth and, lo and behold, did a full body shudder with Mikey’s arms wrapped around him.
His head flew back, his mouth open in a silent moan, as his muscles tensed and then shook slightly, giving the impression of a wonderful sensation. “If you do it three times he has to fight the urge to drop down.” Raph licked his lips as he exposed his brother’s secret.
Don’s face flushed and he frowned. “Raphie,” he moaned and pouted at his brother telling everyone something so intimate.
“Hey, the show must go on, Donnie,” Raph grinned devishly. “You must keep the audience’s attention, after all.”
“Maybe the show needs another actor,” Mikey purred as he motioned for Raph to come join them with a flick of his finger.
Raph chuckled and shook his head. “I’m not much of an actor,”
“Do it,” came from the crowd of the pirates. “Make it a family affair!” Another voice suggested.
“Right,” Raph rolled his eyes. “Because Leonardo would so want to smack beaks with his brothers as well.”
“I’d what?” Speak of the devil, everyone’s eyes suddenly shot to Leonardo as he arrived on the deck. The bucket he was holding, filled with potato skins, was dropped and rolled across the deck, leaving a trail as Leonardo stared wide eyed at his brothers in their debauchery pose. Don and Mikey quickly pulled away from each other and the crowd stopped their boos only because they could tell a new type of show was about to start; they liked to call it a drama.
“What are you two doing?” Leonardo asked, disgust heavy in his voice.
“We were just--” Mikey started to stutter out an answer but Leonardo glared at him and he quickly shut his beak.
“Is this life not sinful enough that you two must now go farther than regular sins and love your brother in such a way?” Leonardo hissed as he approached the two.
“Mikey and I aren’t in love like that, Leonardo, I assure you.” Don stated truthfully.
“Yeah, but Don and I are.” Raph boldly told as he crossed his arms over his plastron. “And I’m fucking sick of hiding it. If you’ve got a problem with it, most noble of noblemen Leonardo, just go ahead and tell me.”
“Do I have a problem with it?” Leonardo turned to Raph, a scowl on his face. “Not only are you damning your own soul to hell but you’re taking Donatello’s with you. What kind of example are you two trying to set for Michelangelo.”
“They’re setting a great example, Leonardo,” Mikey spoke up. “They’re showing me that I don’t have to be ashamed to be gay as well.” Mikey puffed out his chest bravely. “And why do you even care if I am gay or not? I don’t matter to the family; I’m the youngest of four boys; father only needs the first three to carry on the Hamato name. You can always just tell him that I had the misfortune to fall overboard when you get back to home, Leonardo.”
“And leave you to live this sinful life as a gay pirate?” Leonardo asked, confused and worried at his brother’s admission.
“Yes,” Mikey nodded, “Because I’m not going back to my old life, not ever. I like it here, I like being open about who I am, and, truthfully, I would not have it any other way.” He smiled.
“There’s no future here for you, Michelangelo.” Leonardo argued.
“Yes there is,” Mikey shot right back. “There’s more of a future here for me than there was back home. At least, more of a happy one.”
“I agree with Mikey,” Raph told Leonardo. “I ain’t going back either. Tell father I jumped overboard to try and save Mikey but we both got swept away by the tide.”
“And you can tell father that I committed bushido in order to protect our family’s honor by failing my little brothers.” Don smiled, “Because I’m not leaving Raph,” he looked at his brother and his smile widened as Raph smiled back at him. “Not anymore.”
“Then I would be dishonoring our family if I returned back with my younger brothers all killed.” Leonardo stated after what seemed like an eternity of silent contemplation.
“No, you have to go on living to continue our family’s name.” Don argued. “That will be the honorable thing to do.”
“Then it appears I’m dishonoring our family,” Leonardo smiled, “Because the thought of a life without my brothers would drive me to hang myself off of the mast. I suppose father will just forever have to wonder what became of his sons.”
“Oh, Leonardo!” Mikey grinned and ran forward to engulf his brother in a hug. “I’m so happy you’re not being a prude about all of this.”
“Of course not, Mikey,” Leonardo smiled and returned his brother’s hug. “I could never hate any of my brothers, no matter what. Besides, I mean what I said. I can’t imagine being without you guys. If you all are going to sin and end up in hell, I might as well join you.”
“That’s the spirit, brother!” Raph cheered and clapped Leonardo on the shell as Don grabbed his other hand with a large grin. The four stood there, all smiling at one another until Rafieo’s booming voice broke their little brotherly bonding.
“Then there’s only one last thing for us to all do, lads,” Rafieo grinned. “We’ve got to get a welcoming party to correctly welcome all of you to the sinful life of a pirate! Boys, fetch some booze!” The rest of the crew threw their hands into the air with a loud cheer and the partying began.
Rafieo chuckled. “This deck will never truly become clean.” He sighed happily. “But first,” Rafieo grabbed Mikey around his waist and threw him over his shoulder. “Don’t you think I forgot that little scene from before, because there is something in my pants fer you that certainly has not forgotten.”
Mikey grinned and his tail lifted as Rafieo’s hand started to massage his thighs. “Am I going to get punished for breaking a rule, Captain?” He asked with a purr.
“You better believe it,” Rafieo grinned and hurried off to his private quarters.
Leonardo frowned as he stared at the two. “Do not worry, brother,” Don smiled and patted Leonardo on his shoulder. “Mikey swears they are in love.”
“As in love as you two?” Leonardo asked, looking at their connected hands with a soft smile on his face.
“Of course not,” Raph grinned. “No one can love someone as much as I love Donatello.” Don smiled and nuzzled at Raph’s neck.
“Must everything be a competition with you, Raphael?” Don chuckled.
“I am glad that you two are happy.” Leonardo stated, giving them his blessing.
“I am glad that Leon will finally back away from my Raph.” Don suddenly mentioned, holding tightly onto Raph. “I was wondering if I would have to fight to defend you from him.”
“You are not interested in Leon?” Raph asked.
“Of course not,” Don chuckled. “How could I be interested in anyone after I’ve been with you?”
Raph grinned and bent down to pick Don off of his feet. “Enjoy partying with pirates, Leonardo. I must be off in a search of a private room.” Leonardo shook his head amusedly as he watched Raph run off with his brother in hand.
“Rafieo,” Mikey suddenly shouted, startling the pirate captain. Rafieo was complementing Simon on the donuts he had made. “Don’t move from that spot, Simon, move closer to him if you wouldn’t mind. Michael, Donald, come over here!” Mikey grinned and grabbed the two, dragging them over to the others. “We need to line up like this. Shoulder to shoulder, guys,” Mikey instructed as he lined the pirates up and positioned them like he wanted.
“Mikey, what the hell are you doing?” Rafieo asked with a sigh.
“Hold on,” Mikey jumped into the line and grinned. Then he suddenly frowned and stepped away, looking at the line. “Raph!” He shouted loudly for his brother.
“What?” hollered back as Raph appeared on deck.
“Come stand in between Michael and Leon.” Mikey instructed.
Raph looked at the line of turtles then back at Mikey with a glare. “Why can’t you do it?”
“You’re a better shade of green,” Mikey explained with a wide grin. Raph rolled his eyes but took his spot. “There, perfect!”
“What is?” Rafieo asked again, still trying to understand what Mikey was doing.
“He’s making us stand ta look like a rainbow.” Raph informed as he crossed his arms over his plastron.
Mikey grinned as he looked at the colorful line; Rafieo, Simon, Michael, Raph, Leon, and Donald; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The pirates all groaned and quickly left the line. Mikey pouted, “Guys, where’s your gay spirit?”
“I think I left it in the brig,” Michael murmured as he walked past Mikey and headed under deck with Simon in tow.
“I was just being creative,” Mikey defended as he looked up at Rafieo.
“I know, Mikey,” Rafieo smiled, “Honestly, I thought it was rather creative, though not the most manly-pirate thing ta do.”
“Says the pirate captain with the rainbow flag,” Mikey stated, giving Rafieo a skeptical look.
Rafieo shrugged. “I’m captain; I can do whatever the hell I want.”
Leonardo, nicknamed Leo, adjusted rather well to the pirate life. Sure, he wasn’t gay, but Rafieo made an exception for him and allowed him to stay on the ship and serve with them. But only if he got a tattoo on his plastron of a rainbow, which Leo had begrudgingly agreed to get. When they came across another ship, Leo eagerly jumped onto the ship and began to sword fight with anyone who would dare. Leo had always been the best at fencing back on land and was happy to find out he was the best on sea as well. He had even beaten Leon in a duel.
It went without saying that Mikey was happy with his new life. He had started to explore deeper into himself. His exploration led to the discovery that he looked wonderful in women’s garments. Michael had made his shorts into a short skirt.
Don navigated the ship across the waters in a strategic way that often led them onto the path of another ship that they could easily take over. At night he was with Raph.
Raph loved to climb the masts and sit up in the crow’s nest, often taking over the duty from anyone else who had the shift. Don had explained that it allowed Raph to have a moment to himself and just get away from everything, often like Raph did back on land when he went to the docks there.
Rafieo was glad that his crew had such great additions. But one night, he had seen that the waves were unsettled and he knew something big was about to hit him and his newly made crew. He just hoped they would be able to withstand the hit.
“Take those land lovers out,” Rafieo ordered as he swung onto the other ship. “Fire at my ship, will ya?” He growled and drew his dagger, easily swiping at anyone that dared to approach him. He could hear Leo’s swords clanging with opposing ones and he grinned as he watched Raph freely kick and punch at armed men. Raph loved to use his bare hands as his weapons.
The opposing crew didn’t last long in a fight against the pirates. No one knew how pirates fought and were never prepared for their dirty tricks.
“Alright, boys,” Rafieo’s voice rang over to his own ship. “Time fer pillaging.” He called out happily as he began to search for the captain of the ship. His eyes roamed over the fallen bodies and then to those being held captive. Instantly, he caught sight of the rat in the crowd of turtlemen. “And what is a rat doing out on sea? Aren’t the likes of you suppose to be in the mountains and other places were barbarics strive?”
“Watch your tongue, pirate scum,” One of the turtles growled, tugging at the ropes around his hands. “That is nobleman Hamato you are talking to.”
“Forgive me,” Rafieo smirked. “I suppose some rats can become noblemen as well, though it’s rare. It’s even rarer fer that ta come out ta sea. What could ya possibly be out here fer, Mr. Hamato?” The rat stared at Rafieo but seemed to be ignoring him since Rafieo didn’t receive an answer. “If yer a nobleman then I know you understand me. Say something,” Rafieo growled. The grey rat continued to ignore him and Rafieo sighed, frustrated. “Fine, where’s the captain of this ship?” He asked and went to the other side of prisoners.
The rat’s eyes narrowed and he stared at the other pirates on his ship. “Raphael?” The rat spoke as he spotted the turtle as he finished tying one of the sailors up. The pirate looked at him from the corner of his golden eyes and froze halfway through with the knot. He blinked and heavily gulped as he finished tying the sailor up and then ducked behind Donald to make his way towards Rafieo.
“Um, Captain,” Raph tapped Rafieo’s shoulder. “I think my brothers and I might have a problem here.” Raph frowned and shifted from one foot to another, nervously.
“What makes you say that?” Rafieo asked, narrowing his eyes at Raph’s skittish movements.
“This is our father’s ship,” Raph hissed and motioned to the old rat now standing up amongst the tied up sailors.
“That rat is yer father?” Rafieo asked, frowning.
“We took after our mom,” Raph shrugged, “She was a turtle. Dad met her on the seas and she educated him as she fell in love with him. Long story, point is, that’s our father.”
“Oh,” Rafieo cracked his neck. “Well, did he get a good look at you?”
“Yeah, he did,” Raph inhaled sharply. “And I think he just noticed Donnie and Leo now.” He gestured over to where Leo and Don appeared from the lower decks of their father’s ship, a list of supplies in hand.
“Well, shit,” Rafieo rubbed at his neck. “What do you want to do about this?”
Raph gulped. “Get Leo the hell out of here before he notices that--”
“Oh gods,” Leo’s eyes widened, “Father?” He squeaked out as he met his father’s gaze.
“My sons,” Their father frowned, narrowing his eyes at their attires.
“We can explain, father,” Don quickly tried to intervene. “Um, Leo, try to explain.” Don quickly crossed over to Raph and Rafieo. “Do not let father see Mikey or else all excuses we could possibly come up with will be ruined.” He hissed at the two.
“Hey, Captain!” Mikey’s voice cried over the ship, causing Don, Rafieo, and Raph to all freeze, praying that Mikey wasn’t about to make an appearance. Their prayers weren’t answered. “I found more dresses on this ship!” Mikey grinned as he jumped down onto the deck, showing off his finds. “But I am uncertain if I like them too much, they aren’t really becoming and they clash with my eyes.” Mikey pouted as he held up one dress to his body and then the others. “Besides, you just prefer me like this, don’t you?” Mikey asked as he tossed both dresses aside and showed off the short skirt hiked up on his hips. Mikey’s job was to show himself off to whatever ship they took over, Rafieo claimed it made the gays on the ship easily offer themselves.
“Michelangelo!” Leo hissed and Mikey stopped swaying his hips to stare at Leo who was standing before their father. Mikey’s eyes widened and he quickly ran below deck with an indignant squeak. “Um,” Leo looked to his father who was frowning and shaking his head.
“Get me the Captain that’s forced you and your brothers into such a life.” Splinter hissed and Leo nodded as he hurried over to Rafieo.
“Our father wants a word with you.” Leo frowned as he went to Rafieo’s side.
“Now he’ll talk to me,” Rafieo sighed with a nod. “Aye, lads, it’s the moment of truth.” He looked them all over and then stepped up to Splinter. “Well now, ain’t this just a kick in the shell for a family reunion?” Rafieo smiled only to have his smile instantly whipped away from his face as Splinter glared up at him.
“Sir, you have no right and shall remain without honor keeping my sons here.” Splinter growled. “I have plenty to offer you instead. Gold, rubies, alcohol, gun powder; you shall have it all in exchange for my sons.”
“Can’t do it, sir,” Rafieo frowned and crossed his arms over his chest. “I honestly wouldn’t force your boys back into the lives you have set up for them for all the booze in the world.”
Splinter narrowed his gaze even more. “Are you claiming that my sons are not under your rule by force?”
“Aye, sir, I’d be saying just that.” Rafieo nodded. “In fact, I’ll prove it to you right now. Boys,” he ushered the three boys forward since Mikey was still hiding. “Go on and make whatever choice you want to, right now. You can stay with your father or return to my ship. I won’t hold anything against any of you.”
Raph was the first to speak up since it appeared that none of his other brothers were willing to. “Father,” he sighed. “I’d be shaming you if I went back home with ya. I can’t live a life with a little thing chosen by you to be my bride. It’s not the life for me. I’m free on this ship.”
“I feel the same way,” Don nodded and bowed to his father. “Forgive me, father, but Raphael and I have been sinning under you for years now with one another and we could not stop for the gods themselves.”
“My sons,” Splinter frowned and shook his head.
“I feel pretty in women’s clothing,” Mikey suddenly appeared, still wearing the skirt. “And I’m in love with Captain Rafieo.” He smiled a little. “I wouldn’t have my life any other way.”
“I hate Karai,” Leo admitted with a breath. “I honestly do, father, and our marriage would be without honor because it is without love. We have all shamed you.”
Splinter took a deep breath and frowned as he looked from one son to the other. Two were holding hands to gather strength from the other, one was in a skirt, and the third had a tattoo of a rainbow on his plastron. “No, my sons, I have failed you.” He sighed. “I have forced you all to try and live a life not meant for you. Your mother came from a life on the sea and it’s only fitting that her sons seek to return to such a similar life.” He gently placed a hand on Leo’s shoulder. “You honor me with speaking the truth.” He looked at all of them and smiled. “And I am happy that you three have found peace through another.” He nodded his head to them and they all returned the gesture.
“Crew,” Splinter turned around and faced his bound men. “My sons have been lost at sea, never to be searched for or found again. It is a horrible tragedy but the sea mistress makes her claims as she sees fit. We shall finish the deal with these pirates and be on our way back to home.” He looked back at his boys and smiled. “I wish you boys all the happiness I could not provide you.”
“Oh, father!” Mikey felt tears in his eyes and he wrapped his arms around his father’s furry neck. “Thank you,” He pulled away and quickly hugged Rafieo. “I’ve got my father’s blessing.”
Rafieo smiled and held Mikey. Splinter watched the scene and nodded his head when Rafieo glance up at him. He was accepted. Rafieo’s crew wasn’t too disappointed when he told them not to pillage the ship, after all, they had been given something no pirate had ever received before; honor.
“I’m a man with honor now,” Rafieo grinned as he dropped Mikey from his shoulder onto the bed.
“I am sorry to tell you, Rafieo, but with everything you have committed, that tiny amount of honor you’ve received from my father is moot.” Mikey smiled up at him.
Rafieo shrugged his shoulder. “Well, I’ll settle for being a man with a father’s blessing then.” Rafieo grinned and leaned over Mikey. “And since I want to keep yer father’s blessing then I guess I’ll just have to keep you forever and ever.”
“Is that an order, Captain?” Mikey smiled and leaned up on his elbows.
“No, but this is,” Rafieo grinned. “Kiss me, lad.”
“Aye, aye, Captain.”
